Ryan Reynolds was able to check attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour off his bucket list by making it to a show in Madrid.

The 47-year-old actor was seen having a great time at the 34-year-old singer’s concert at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Spain on Wednesday, May 29, according to videos on social media. Reynolds was accompanied by his wife, Blake Lively, in the VIP section.

Earlier this month, Reynolds shared his excitement about attending the Eras Tour for the first time since it started in March 2023. He called it the “best concert on planet Earth” during an interview on Today With Hoda & Jenna.

During the interview, Reynolds mentioned that he was getting ready to attend the Madrid show and expressed how thrilled he was about it.

Meanwhile, Lively and the couple’s children have been to the Eras Tour multiple times.

"My wife and kids have been to five or six of Taylor Swift's concerts now," he shared. "They absolutely love it, they're completely obsessed with her music."

Reynolds mentioned that his hectic schedule had prevented him from attending Swift's Eras Tour to show his support, but he made sure to make time to attend one of her concerts during his break.

"I'm excited for this trip because it's my first one in a year and a half. I've been working nonstop and it's been a problem," he shared. "But I'm getting help now, intervention is the word they're using."

Lively, 36, and Reynolds have been friends with Swift for years. Their children have even inspired her music. Swift mentioned their daughters on the song "Betty" from her 2020 album Folklore. During one of her May 2023 Eras Tour shows in Philadelphia, James and Inez attended with Lively and received a special shout-out from Swift. James' voice is also featured on Swift's 2017 track "Gorgeous."

Taylor Swift shared with the audience that some characters in her song "Betty" were named after real people she loves - James, Inez, and Betty. After the show, she was seen leaving the stadium with Blake Lively and her two eldest daughters.

During his interview on Today With Hoda & Jenna, Ryan Reynolds dismissed a fan theory that Taylor Swift revealed the name of his and Lively's fourth child on her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

We are eagerly waiting for Taylor to share the child's name with us. It seems like Taylor is taking her time, so maybe she should consider getting started on that soon, you know," he playfully remarked. Taylor is known for being a very productive writer, so we wonder why she hasn't decided on a name yet. One thing's for sure, Taylor is definitely not lazy.
