“Oh no. I would rather he just be well-rounded and enjoy his journey,” Thicke said.
Robin, the son of the late actor Alan Thicke, has often talked about his close relationship with Julian.
"I began writing songs, producing, and singing for a living when I was 16, and I didn't really take a break until last year," he shared with Good Morning America in August 2013. "I decided to take some time off to focus on being with my son and my family. It really helps you see what truly matters in life."
Robin mentioned, "Spending time with my son made me realize what truly matters the most."
He also has three younger children with his fiancée April Love Geary, who are just as talented as Julian.
Robin joked to Us on the red carpet that his children are musically talented and two of them have a good singing voice.
Robin's decision to attend the Monster Jam finals at SoFi Stadium was influenced by his three young children - Mia, 6, Lola, 5, and Luca, 3.
Robin shared on Saturday that her 3-year-old is really into cars and trucks, which is why he has a large collection of them. She mentioned that their daughters attend school with the owners of the JCB team, who invited them to join in on the experience.
Robin added that the experience was quite incredible and something she had never done before. She found it to be really cool.
Robin and Geary, 29, have been together since 2014 and he proposed four years later. He noted on Saturday that they don’t have any wedding planning updates “yet.”
