Rihanna can’t help but gush over her two sons, RZA and Riot.
Rihanna, 35, expressed in an interview with Extra that her children are growing quickly and are incredibly intelligent and engaging. She welcomed her first son, RZA, who is now 19 months old, in May 2022 with partner ASAP Rocky. During her halftime show performance at Super Bowl LVII, she announced her second pregnancy with the rapper. Their son, Riot, is now 4 months old, born in August.
"They're incredible," she exclaimed. "They're getting bigger and growing so fast, I can't keep up with buying clothes for them. It's frustrating. I start to doubt if I'm doing something wrong or if the sizes on the labels are inaccurate."
As she navigates the challenges of raising her two boys, the Grammy winner has been speaking candidly about parenting and how different it is from her earlier expectations of what her family would be like.
During an Access Hollywood interview on Monday, December 18, she expressed her desire to have children and raise them in a loving family that breaks generational curses. She couldn't believe that her hope was coming to fruition and shared her vision of raising her kids better than she was raised. She also mentioned the distinctive feature of her forehead that she hoped to see in her future children, noting that her eldest has it, but her son Riot does not.
“I’m like, ‘Wait, are you sure [this is my baby]?’” Rihanna quipped. “You can’t lose this thing!”
