Savage x Fenty
Rihanna’s 13-month-old son RZA is ready for his close up.
The 35-year-old singer's infant son, whom she has with her boyfriend ASAP Rocky, co-starred with her in a Savage x Fenty campaign promoting the brand's new maternity collection. Captured by photographer Dennis Leupold, the pictures showcased Rihanna wearing the Savage x Cotton Maternity nursing bra in Black Caviar as she lovingly held baby RZA, who sported Savage x Fenty boxers. Both mother and son displayed joyful expressions, with RZA clutching onto his mother's arms.
Rihanna flaunted her burgeoning baby bump by pairing it with only a black panty. (During her Super Bowl LVII halftime show in February, Rihanna confirmed the news of expecting her second child with Rocky, 34).
The maternity drop not only includes nursing bras but also features other bralettes with neckline-to-underarm openings and adjustable front-facing straps, providing convenience and functionality. Rihanna stated in a press release on Wednesday, August 9, that the new maternity capsule aims to bring confidence and comfort to moms throughout their journeys and reminds people that they can still feel sexy and good while being a parent.
Promoting confidence and self-love has been the top priority for Rihanna's lingerie company ever since it was launched five years ago. In June, she made the announcement that she would be stepping down as the CEO of Savage x Fenty, aiming to lead the brand to greater success.
Savage x Fenty has had a remarkable influence on the industry in the past five years, as stated by Rihanna in an interview with Vogue Business. She expressed her delight in witnessing the impact of their vision and emphasized that this is only the start. The brand aims to continuously grow and establish connections with the consumer.
Rihanna has chosen Hillary Super, the former CEO of Anthropologie Group, as her successor starting June 26. Super, 51, expressed her excitement about joining the Savage x Fenty family and praised the brand for being a dominant force in the lingerie and apparel industry. She also admired its dedication to promoting inclusivity and fearlessness.
Rihanna introduced Savage x Fenty in 2018, collaborating with investors such as LVMH.
At her launch party in May 2018, the Oceans 8 star expressed her enthusiasm for the debut line, stating, "I aimed to push boundaries and create a collection that resonates with women. My goal is to make people feel confident, have fun with different styles, and break the rules of lingerie. Cute and edgy can coexist within the same collection. This line encourages you to step out of your comfort zone while staying true to yourself."
