RHOSLC's Whitney Rose on the Fence About Newcomer Monica Garcia

'RHOSLC' star Whitney Rose is intrigued by newcomer Monica Garcia's enigmatic energy, but remains undecided about their potential connection

Whitney Rose, 37, remains uncertain about her fellow Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member, Monica Garcia, despite her growing popularity among fans. During an exclusive interview for the "Housewives Happy Hour" series, Whitney expressed her thoughts, stating, "I'm still undecided. I genuinely want to like her, considering her abundance of energy and the fact that she's a single mother. However, there's an aura or vibe that I haven't quite understood yet."

Monica, aged 40, joined the cast of Housewives in the fourth season premiere of RHOSLC last month. Since then, she has found herself caught up in various dramatic situations. In one episode, she told Angie Katsanevas that Meredith Marks had been spreading rumors about her marriage. Additionally, she has been involved in a feud with her own mother, which was featured in an episode that aired earlier this month.

This season, Whitney has also been in conflict with Meredith, who is 51 years old. Whitney expressed her viewpoint that it was strange for Meredith to bathe with her husband, Seth Marks. Despite the resulting drama, Whitney has stated that she stands by her comments about the bathtub incident and has no regrets.

"I completely support it," she declared. "I mean, I am all in favor of having romantic bathtubs, but when it comes to cleaning, I decline."

When questioned about whether she had ever shared a romantic bath with her spouse, Justin Rose, Whitney admitted that she had, but she always takes a separate shower afterwards. "I refuse to bathe with another person," she explained. "It simply does not align with my personal preference."

Whitney and Justin's love story captured the attention of viewers during season 2 of RHOSLC in February 2022 when they ventured into a sensual painting session to add some excitement to their relationship. The scene continues to be remembered by RHOSLC fans, but Whitney expressed that while she doesn't regret the experience entirely, she wouldn't choose to repeat it.

Despite the artistic hiccup, Whitney and Justin's marriage is now back on track. In September, Whitney expressed that their marriage is no different from anyone else's, and they are choosing to share it, regardless of others' opinions. She mentioned that they have moved past sharing cringey things and had to "reset" when Justin returned to work after losing his job in 2022.

"He didn't work for a year," Whitney stated, mentioning that she became accustomed to his presence at home and devoted her attention to her own businesses. However, she assured that they are currently doing well. "Considering all the challenges I faced with my family, my father, and my healing process, he has been incredibly supportive."
