RHOSLC's Lisa Barlow Shares Son Jack's Mission Trip Hospitalization in Colombia

Lisa Barlow expressed her worries about her son, Jack's, health during his mission trip to Colombia. She shared that she misses him every day and that it's been difficult not being by his side as he has been in the hospital for 3 days. Despite not providing details about his condition, she assured fans that the situation is being addressed and that she will have more information soon.
Numerous fans expressed their well-wishes for Barlow's family in response to her post. One fan tweeted, "You don't get enough credit for being such a good caring mother," to which Lisa replied, "Thank you!!! I'm very close to my kids." (Lisa shares sons Jack and Henry, 11, with her husband, John Barlow.)
Another user mentioned that they "cannot imagine what you're going through," and added, "A mother's job is never done and sometimes it feels like the work is even harder as they get older." Lisa agreed, writing, "Never and it does."
Lisa's storyline on RHOSLC season 4 has heavily featured Jack's mission trip. Despite being part of the Mormon church, Lisa was surprised when her son expressed interest in going on a mission trip. Traditional Mormon missionaries spend two years in a location assigned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where they engage in volunteer work and proselytizing.
During a September episode of the Bravo series, Lisa admitted to John that she was caught off guard by her son's decision. She tearfully expressed her emotions, feeling left out of the process and wondering if Jack needed more time with her or perhaps wanted less.

Lisa expressed her concerns for Jack's safety, stating during an October episode of RHOSLC that she worries he might be held up at gunpoint during his mission. She mentioned that her friend's son was frequently held up at gunpoint in the same area, so he always carried extra cash to hand over. Lisa shut down rumors that Jack had changed his mission location from Colombia to Orange County, California, after a Reddit user claimed to see him at a local TJ Maxx, explaining that his VISA was simply delayed.
Earlier this month, she verified her son’s presence in Colombia by posting a selfie that Jack snapped at a street market in the capital city of Bogotá on X. She captioned the picture with “Jack Barlow is in Colombia️️.”
