RHONJ’s Dolores Catania reveals her incredible 20-pound weight loss journey at BravoCon The Real Housewives star opens up about her transformation and shares her secrets to achieving this remarkable milestone

Reality TV personality Dolores Catania, known for her role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is currently experiencing an invigorating journey towards weight loss. Expressing her satisfaction, the 52-year-old star confirmed that she has successfully shed over 20 pounds. Dolores excitedly shared this news exclusively with We at BravoCon in Las Vegas on November 3rd, further revealing that she has not weighed this much since the year 1988. Overall, Dolores Catania is feeling immensely content with her progress.

Dolores attributes her wellness routine to her dedication to both "Mounjaro" and the gym. Her boyfriend, Paul "Paulie" Connell, is known for consistently motivating her to engage in physical activity. Describing Dolores' fitness efforts, Paulie, 48, enthusiastically shared with Us Magazine that she puts in considerable effort at the gym and follows a nutritious diet.

Although Dolores has eliminated unhealthy food from her diet, she still allows herself to have cheat meals. During a conversation with her boyfriend Paul, she confessed, "I still enjoy eating at McDonald's, that's the honest truth. I believe in always being truthful." Interestingly, Dolores almost couldn't resist her temptation for her guilty pleasure while attending BravoCon. She explained to Us, "Today, I happened to glance out the window and spotted a McDonald's in the parking lot downstairs. I found myself contemplating the number of steps it would take to reach there."

Dolores revealed in April that she had started taking Mounjaro, a weight loss medication primarily prescribed to diabetic patients, six weeks earlier.

"I decided to join the bandwagon for the season 13 reunion, determined not to appear larger than my fellow Bravo stars," the reality TV personality revealed on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, mentioning the side effects she experienced. "I simply lost my appetite."

Additionally, Dolores clarified that she began collaborating with a personal trainer to support her weight loss endeavors.

Dolores had lost 20 pounds after almost three months. In July, she revealed to The U.S. Sun, "Currently, I weigh 137 pounds. Initially, I weighed 157 pounds." She mentioned her aim of reaching the low 130s, which she considers to be a practical goal.

Speaking to the same publication, Dolores added, "I was prescribed Ozempic, then switched to Mounjaro. Both medications were recommended due to my insulin resistance, pre-diabetic condition, and thyroid problem."

Dolores noticed a steady increase in her weight before beginning the injections, explaining that it was a gradual process and not something that could be easily reversed, as she shared with The Sun.

Furthermore, while focusing on her wellbeing, Dolores also documented a thrilling and eventful 14th season of RHONJ.

"You won't be disappointed as the content is incredibly surprising and unpredictable. Prepare to experience a whirlwind of emotions when watching," she teased to Us on Friday. She further revealed that the intense animosity between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga reaches its boiling point. "This situation has taken a toll on me. It's unusual for anything in life to impact my day-to-day routine."

Dolores additionally expressed, "This season has pushed me to my limits. Even [Paulie] noticed my silence and asked, 'Why are you so quiet?' I responded, 'I'm dealing with a lot. I have to attend gatherings where the future outcome remains uncertain.' Can their hatred for each other possibly escalate any further?"
