The Type-66 Hoon, which is a modified version of the Quadra Type-66, showcases a sleek black-green color scheme along with a distinctive "43" sticker and a captivating "K.B. 67-23" tagline. In Cyberpunk 2077, players have the opportunity to acquire and possess the Type-66 Hoon by uncovering its concealed keys located in close proximity to the vehicle.

An impressive tribute to the late Ken Block has been added to Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. This heartfelt Easter egg can be found in the comprehensive 2.0 update for the game, which was released on September 21. Ken Block, who sadly passed away in a snowmobile accident at the age of 55 in January, had an illustrious career in rally racing and was the owner of Hoonigan Industries, an automotive apparel and media company based in California. His collaborations with various game developers and his impact on the gaming community led to many creative ways of honoring his memory after his death.

CD Projekt Red has added a new interactive tribute to their collection with the creation of a Cyberpunk 2077 car inspired by the famous Hoonigan Ford "Hoonicorn" Mustang RTR driven by Block. This unique version of Cyberpunk 2077's Quadra Type-66, discovered by a Reddit user, shares similarities with the Hoonicorn but has its own distinct design. The black-green color scheme and chassis shape immediately bring to mind the iconic rally ride. The vehicle features abundant advertising and prominently displays a "43" sticker, representing Block's car number. On the right side, there is a "K.B. 67-23" tagline, referencing the years of birth and death of the rally driver. The vehicle is named the Type 66 Hoon and was found in a Northside warehouse during the Epistrophy side quest, where V assists Delamain in recovering rogue AI cabs.

Despite this, early player reports indicate that the Type 66 Hoon can always be discovered at that specific spot after the release of the 2.0 update, regardless of any missions. What's even more impressive is that players can not only drive the car, but also own it. In order to add this precious vehicle to V's garage in Cyberpunk 2077, all players need to do is locate its keys, which are cunningly hidden inside a box underneath a sloped plate situated in close proximity to the vehicle.

The recent inclusion of Cyberpunk 2077 pays homage to the renowned rally driver, making it a milestone in game development. This tribute follows in the footsteps of Forza Horizon 5, which recognized Ken Block earlier this year by featuring Hoonigan-branded gear and a drivable version of the Hoonicorn. Additionally, players can now access the eighth variation of the Quadra Type-66 car in this popular RPG. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently playable on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. However, the exclusive 2.0 update is only available on PC and the latest console generation.
