Remedy hints at an exciting development for Alan Wake 2 this month, suggesting that an official announcement might be just around the corner Stay tuned for potential news on the highly anticipated game's New Game Plus feature

Remedy Entertainment announced that the New Game Plus feature for Alan Wake II might be released this month. The studio shared a photo on Twitter showing Alan Wake using his flashlight at the side of a building with the phrase "New Game +" and teased, "New month, new game...plus?" Although the exact release date was not disclosed, Remedy hinted that it will be coming sometime in the current month, possibly as a surprise drop or announcement at The Game Awards 2023.

In October, Remedy confirmed that a New Game Plus and an alternate storyline would be added to Alan Wake II post-launch. New Game Plus will enable players to retain their unlocked weapons and upgrades for a new playthrough, along with a new Nightmare difficulty option.

Additionally, Alan Wake II will receive two expansions named Night Springs and The Lakehouse in 2024. Our Website gave the game a perfect 10/10 rating, stating in our review, "Remedy delivers its best game yet by transforming a long-awaited sequel into a uniquely meta multimedia masterpiece."

The release of Alan Wake II comes more than ten years after the debut of the initial game in 2011, along with its spin-off, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, in 2012. The game is currently accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
