Rachel Zegler and Josh Andrés Rivera's love story began on the set of Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, igniting a genuine romance.
Confirming their relationship in February 2021, almost a year before the release of West Side Story in theaters, Rachel, the star of Snow White, affectionately captioned a Twitter post featuring a series of joyful selfies of the couple, proclaiming her love for Josh Andres Rivera.
Since Zegler's film career has been on the rise, the couple has continued to grow in their love for each other. During her acceptance speech at the National Board of Review in March 2022, where she won Best Actress, the Shazam! Fury of the Gods actress expressed her gratitude to her boyfriend for supporting her dreams and making her laugh in both her dreams and reality.
In the upcoming Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Zegler and Rivera will once again appear on screen together. Zegler, a Golden Globe nominee, will portray the protagonist Lucy Gray Baird, while her boyfriend will take on the role of Hunger Games mentor Sejanus Plinth.

Rachel Zegler and Josh Andrés Rivera initially met while filming Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, and their connection soon blossomed into a romantic relationship. Their love story was made public in February 2021, almost a year before the release of West Side Story, when Rachel, the star of Snow White, shared a collection of cheerful selfies of the couple on Twitter, accompanied by the caption "I love Josh Andres Rivera."
Since Zegler's film career is on the rise, the couple has continued to strengthen their love. During her National Board of Review acceptance speech in March 2022, where she won Best Actress, the Shazam! Fury of the Gods actress expressed her gratitude towards her boyfriend, saying, "Thank you for holding my hand in my dreams and in my reality. I love experiencing life with you. Thank you for bringing laughter into my life."
