Rachel Lindsay, a former contestant on The Bachelorette, stated in new court documents that she is covering most of the expenses while living together with her estranged husband, Bryan Abasolo.

Even though their separation has been made public, the 39-year-old reality star is aiming to resolve the divorce disagreement with her husband of four years in a peaceful and private manner.

Rachel's legal team has mentioned in paperwork filed on Friday, May 10, that she wishes to settle the matter quietly without involving the court. They are working towards a global settlement. Meanwhile, Bryan continues to live in Rachel's home, with Rachel covering 90 percent of all expenses.

Lindsay has requested the court to keep her financial information private, stating that making it public could result in irreparable harm. She also asked for certain parts of Abasolo's request for spousal support and attorney's fees, filed on May 1, to be sealed. A hearing for these requests is scheduled for July 10.

Bryan filed his petition for dissolution of marriage, followed by his request for order. The public knows about this, but his private financial information remains undisclosed.

Lindsay and Abasolo met on season 13 of The Bachelorette and got married in 2019. They lived in Florida and California before Abasolo filed for divorce in January, ending their four-year marriage.

In court documents obtained by Us in May, Abasolo asked Lindsay for emergency spousal support and to help pay his legal fees, amounting to at least $75,000. He also accused Lindsay of using their shared funds to cover her legal expenses while denying him access to the money.

Abasolo stated that they are still residing together because he cannot afford to move out. He described their living situation as uncomfortable and tense, mentioning that they actively try to avoid each other.

Abasolo expressed his desire to move out of the Family Residence quickly but mentioned that it is currently not financially possible to maintain their standard of living. He shared in the documents, "I had to pause my career as a chiropractor to relocate twice for Rachel's job. These relocations negatively impacted my chiropractic business, while Rachel's income and fame as a media personality flourished."

Shortly after Abasolo filed for divorce in January, Lindsay spoke out about the situation, breaking her silence.

During an episode of her "Higher Learning" podcast, Lindsay expressed her gratitude to those who reached out to her. She mentioned that she is still in the process of responding to everyone. She was surprised by the overwhelming support from her circle during this tough time. Despite the challenging situation, she finds solace in doing what she loves, which is hosting "Higher Learning."

Lindsay chose not to delve into the details of her separation, mentioning that she is taking things one day at a time.

The divorce proceedings between Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo highlight the complexities of separation and the potential for financial disparities between spouses. Despite their public separation, Lindsay's desire for privacy and her financial support of Abasolo reveal a nuanced and potentially sensitive situation. The fact that Abasolo has requested emergency spousal support and legal fees raises questions about the couple's financial arrangements during their marriage.

Furthermore, Abasolo's claim that his career was negatively impacted by their relocations for Lindsay's job adds another layer to their divorce proceedings. It underscores the potential sacrifices and adjustments that spouses may make during a marriage, particularly when one partner's career trajectory is more successful than the other's. Lindsay's willingness to support Abasolo financially during this transition period, while also requesting privacy, demonstrates her commitment to resolving their divorce amicably and respectfully.
