Princess Eugenie is very happy to be a supportive cousin to Prince William. While Princess Kate Middleton is receiving cancer treatment, Prince of Wales hosted a garden party at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, May 21. Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, and Mike Tindall joined him. They met with members of William and Kate's patronages and charitable projects.
Eugenie, 34, shared on Instagram on Wednesday, May 22, about attending the Buckingham Palace Garden Party with her family. Despite the rainy weather, she expressed her joy in meeting individuals who have made significant contributions to their local communities and the country.
According to Hello! magazine, Eugenie looked elegant in a white satin tea dress by Ulla Johnson, paired with silver studded Valentino heels and a pink headband from Emily-London. She held a black umbrella with a smile on her face. Her sister, Beatrice, 35, wore a stylish ruffled pink dress, while Prince William, 41, was seen in a black jacket and top hat.
Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, is not a working member of the royal family. Despite this, she has been making more public appearances recently due to the royal family's health issues.
Princess Eugenie shared a post on her social media account.
King Charles III and Kate are both getting treatment for cancer. Charles, who is 75 years old, announced his diagnosis in February after a regular prostate operation. Kate, 42, spoke about her cancer in a video on social media in March. She shared that the cancer was discovered during abdominal surgery earlier this year.
Days after Kate’s announcement, Eugenie took to Instagram to express her appreciation for family and loved ones. She shared a photo of herself holding one of her two sons, August (3 years old) and Ernst (almost 1 year old), whom she shares with her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Kate is currently taking a break from her royal duties until she receives clearance from her doctors. Despite this, she has been actively working on her various projects such as the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, the Shaping Us Campaign, and the Business Taskforce.
At Tuesday’s garden party, William was given a book by author Rowan Aderyn. Rowan is part of the prince’s Homewards foundation, which helps homeless people. William was excited about the book and said, “This is so inspiring. I’ll read this to Louis tonight before bedtime.” Louis is William and Kate’s youngest child, who is 6 years old.
