Dragon's Dogma II may be released on March 22, 2024, based on the PEGI rating. Although the rating page for the game has been deleted, a screenshot captured by Gematsu reveals that the game is set to launch on that date for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Capcom has announced that a Dragon's Dogma II showcase will take place on November 28. The showcase, presented by director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, will last for 15 minutes and feature brand new gameplay. Although Capcom has not confirmed a release date, there is a possibility that it will be revealed during the showcase. If not, The Game Awards 2023 could also be a potential platform for the announcement.
Inspired by Grand Theft Auto V, Itsuno has aimed to create a similar "living world" for Dragon's Dogma II. The game was announced in June 2022, as a celebration of the first game's 10th anniversary. As fans eagerly await the sequel, there are plenty of reasons to revisit the world of the original game.
In our preview of Dragon's Dogma II combat on our website, we described the experience as both familiar and incredibly thrilling, particularly during intense battles where you find yourself holding on to formidable creatures.
