Pokemon Sleep will soon be receiving a new round of updates, including new features and bug fixes. The game was initially announced in 2019, but details about the project were not revealed until February's Pokemon Presents livestream. Developed by Select Button and Pokemon GO studio Niantic, Pokemon Sleep tracks a player's sleep patterns using a mobile device. By obtaining more hours of sleep, players can unlock new Pokemon upon waking up, which are categorized into three different levels of slumber.

Although there have been concerns about the app's ability to track players while they sleep and the potential fire hazard of leaving a plugged-in phone under a pillow overnight, Pokemon Sleep has garnered positive reviews since its launch last month. Fans have already discovered strategies to level up the game's Snorlax and increase the number of wild Pokemon encountered after each sleep session. Furthermore, special "Good Sleep Day" events are planned for later this year. The Pokemon Company has also assured players that updates for this lifestyle-based Pokemon mobile game will be released in the near future.
