Bo-Katan initially appeared in Filoni's Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 4, episode 14, voiced by Sackhoff. Sackhoff returned to portray the character in both seasons 2 and 3 of The Mandalorian.
Pascal expressed his admiration for Filoni's expanded Star Wars universe, stating that he was delighted by the character's development in the second season and her subsequent prominence in the third.
