Patrick Mahomes has expressed admiration for his teammate Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and the positive impact she has had on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mahomes, who is 28 years old, responded to the joke in a video posted by Complex on Wednesday, April 24. He laughed off the comment, admitting, "That is true." He also pointed out, "But she was named Time Person of the Year just a few months before that, so it's really cool to be on the cover of Time."

In addition, he mentioned, "It's definitely a bonus when your best friend is dating the most famous woman in the world."
