Travis Kelce, 34, is a big fan of The Tortured Poets Department, just like all of us. At his second annual Kelce Jam festival, Kelce was asked to rank his top three songs by his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift. He chose two tracks from Swift's latest record.
“‘Blank Space,’ ‘[The] Alchemy,’ and ‘So High School,’” Kelce told The Schmo at the event hosted in Kansas City on Saturday, May 18.
Both songs "The Alchemy" and "So High School" are from TTPD, which has been number one on the Billboard 200 for four weeks, according to Billboard.
On the other hand, "Blank Space" is a popular anthem by Swift and was included in her 2014 album "1989." The song dominated the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven weeks in a row.
At the Kelce Jam festival, Kelce showed even more love to TTPD, telling Access Hollywood it is his favorite of Swift’s eras to date.
Taylor Swift Returns to Eras Tour in Sweden
Kelce admitted that he may have a slight bias towards The Tortured Poets Department.
Kelce decided to take a break from supporting his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at her Eras Tour to attend Saturday’s festival. However, he couldn’t stop thinking about her even while he was away.
“I have to say, Taylor’s shows are absolutely incredible,” Kelce shared exclusively with us at the event. “If you haven’t had the chance to experience them, you really should give it a try.”
Swift is currently touring Europe as part of the Eras Tour. She recently wrapped up three nights of performances at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on Sunday, May 19. Next, she will be making stops in Portugal, Spain, and France before heading to the U.K. for a series of concerts. It is estimated that these shows will contribute approximately $1.2 billion to the British economy.
The popular singer behind the hit song "Fortnight" is scheduled to have 15 concerts in England, Wales, and Scotland. The tour will start with three back-to-back shows at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland, from June 7 to 9. In addition, she will have eight performances at the famous Wembley Stadium in London.
Barclays, a British banking company, predicts that fans in the UK will spend an average of $1,000 (approximately £848) per person on tickets, transportation, lodging, and merchandise in order to attend the concerts of this Grammy award-winning artist.
Swift is expected to perform in front of 1.2 million fans across the 15 shows, per data compiled by the bank.
