Pamela Anderson showcased her makeup-free look during Paris Fashion Week, earning admiration from Jamie Lee Curtis. The acclaimed "Halloween" actress took to Instagram to share a photo of Anderson's natural beauty, declaring that the era of embracing one's authentic self has begun.
Pamela Anderson attended fashion week amidst numerous pressures and expectations. Despite this environment, she boldly took her place at the table without any makeup on, leaving Curtis, the writer, deeply impressed and amazed by her act of bravery and defiance. Anderson, known for her iconic role in "Baywatch," has revealed that she now prefers to wear minimal or no makeup, in contrast to her earlier years on the show.
Anderson recently revealed in an interview with Elle that she simply followed others' instructions regarding her appearance in the past. However, she now prefers to wear minimal or no makeup ever since losing her previous makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, to breast cancer in 2019.
Anderson praised Vogel, saying she was the best. However, since then, Anderson has decided it is best for her to not wear makeup without Alexis. Anderson finds the toned-down look to be liberating, enjoyable, and somewhat rebellious.
"Observing the plethora of individuals flaunting elaborate makeup looks, I couldn't help but defy convention and opt for something entirely different," she acknowledged. "As we age, we all seem to undergo a slight transformation that may appear amusing. When I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I find myself chuckling, contemplating the changes taking place. It truly is a journey."
Recently, Anderson has reclaimed the spotlight through a fresh publication, a documentary, and a series of captivating fashion shoots, collaborating with esteemed brands such as Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger.
