Cher and her former boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards sparked rumors of a possible reconciliation as they cozied up together at Paris Fashion Week. The 77-year-old Grammy winner, currently embroiled in a contentious legal battle with her daughter-in-law, was captured in a photo cuddling with the 37-year-old Edwards during the Balmain fashion show on Wednesday, September 27. Sitting side by side, the pair had their arms lovingly wrapped around each other.
Cher and Edwards were recently seen together, weeks after they were observed holding hands during a previous outing in Beverly Hills. The pair, who ended their relationship in May, were captured on camera leaving the restaurant Funke with J Balvin and his girlfriend, Valentina Ferrer. Although the former couple hasn't officially confirmed their reunion, a source revealed exclusively to We in September that there is potential for a reconciliation.
"They have remained in contact despite ending their relationship a few months ago," revealed the insider. "Now, they have reached a point where they are considering rekindling their romance. Although they are not officially reunited, they are relishing the time spent together and bringing happiness into each other's lives."
The source additionally highlighted that friends of the former couple consistently believed that they would reconcile due to their strong connection and the fact that Edwards introduced Cher to his 3-year-old son, Slash, whom he shares with his ex-partner Amber Rose.
According to an insider, the bond between them was genuine and their feelings for each other were heartfelt. The source revealed that AE had gone as far as introducing his son, Slash, to Cher, and the young boy would frequently visit Cher's house in Malibu for playdates.
