Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover aren’t engaged, but they almost got hitched while in Las Vegas — with Elvis as their witness.

DeSorbo, 31, recounted to Elite Daily in a published interview on Monday, December 18, "I suggested we do it in a chapel. Craig, however, backed out." The couple, together since summer 2021, had briefly considered getting married in Las Vegas during their visit for BravoCon in November. Conover, 34, was not enthusiastic about eloping.

"I won't be getting married in Vegas," he admitted. "I want something more genuine than that." DeSorbo jokingly teased, "What's more genuine than you, me, and Elvis, honey?"

While they didn't exchange vows in Vegas, there was plenty of love in Sin City. "I've heard about some inter-reality star hookups," DeSorbo said playfully, keeping the details under wraps.

Conover humorously claimed that he and DeSorbo are behind all the other crossover connections. The two, who are cast members of Southern Charm and Summer House, started spending time together in spring 2021 after appearing on Winter House season 1.

Their relationship was officially confirmed in September of that year, when they attended Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke's wedding. Since then, Conover has made appearances on Summer House, and DeSorbo has guest starred on Southern Charm.

"Conover asserted, 'We appreciate you pushing us in this direction. This marks a new beginning for Bravo.' He likened the start of their relationship to the Marvel Universe. Earlier, Conover had likened the BravoCon reunion of the casts from Southern Charm, Summer House, and Vanderpump Rules to rival college teams coming together."

"It’s like being in a sports competition. We go in there with confidence," Conover told We in an exclusive interview in November, alongside fellow cast member Madison LeCroy. They admitted that the atmosphere can get competitive, especially when seeing familiar faces. "But then you see, like, people you used to play with or whatever and you’re like, ‘What’s up?’ Everyone’s kind of looking around the room like, ‘Alright.’”

According to Conover and LeCroy, each cast member has their own share of scandals to deal with, but they're not all on the same level. Conover ranked Scandoval's (Tom Sandoval cheating on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss) as the least scandalous, followed by Austen Kroll and Taylor Ann Green’s secret hook up in the middle, and Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard’s broken engagement as the most dramatic.

"I plan on visiting Scandoval, then Carl and Lindsay, and finally our place. Based on how I reacted to Austen and Taylor on the show, I know it seems like I'm doing it all backwards," LeCroy joked.

Although Conover and DeSorbo's relationship hasn't been as dramatic as some on TV, it hasn't always been smooth sailing for them. Along with the challenges of a long-distance relationship, the couple also had to confront cheating rumors earlier this year, as shown on season 9 of Southern Charm.

During the season premiere aired in September, Green, 28, accused DeSorbo of being unfaithful. However, both DeSorbo and Conover have repeatedly dismissed the allegations.
