Olivia Munn complimented Princess Kate Middleton for her "grace and determination" during their cancer treatments. Munn, 43, expressed her gratitude in an Instagram comment on Friday, March 22, thanking Middleton for being a shining example of strength and resilience. "Thank you for showing what it's like to fight with grace and determination for yourself and for your family. Wishing you all the best."

Kate, 42, recently shared in a video that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Initially, she underwent major abdominal surgery in London in January under the belief that her condition was noncancerous. However, tests later revealed the presence of cancer. As a result, her medical team recommended a course of preventative chemotherapy, which she has now started in the early stages.

Kate revealed that the diagnosis came as a big surprise to her family. She and Prince William decided to inform their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, before sharing the news publicly.

She shared, "I am feeling better each day by focusing on my mind, body, and spirit. William's support is a great comfort to me, along with the love and kindness from many of you. We appreciate your understanding as we ask for some time, space, and privacy while I undergo treatment."

Munn recently expressed her support for Kate following the actress's announcement of being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy.

Kate revealed in a social media post on March 13 that she decided to take a genetic test in February 2023 to proactively monitor her health. Fortunately, the test results showed that she tested negative for all 90 different cancer genes, including the well-known BRCA gene. Her sister, Sara Potts, also received negative test results, leading to a celebratory phone call between the siblings. Additionally, Kate had a normal mammogram that same winter.

Despite having negative tests, she was diagnosed with breast cancer two months later and has since undergone four surgeries in the past year. She expressed gratitude towards her partner, John Mulaney, and the medical staff who have supported her throughout the journey.

She shared, "Surprisingly, I've only cried twice. I guess I haven't felt like there was time to cry. My focus became more narrow and I pushed aside any emotions that I thought would hinder my ability to think clearly."
