Olivia Flowers Updates on Her Relationship with Taylor Ann Green Amidst Austen Kroll Drama

Olivia Flowers navigates the aftermath of a dramatic revelation on 'Southern Charm' season 9, where tensions arise between her, Taylor Ann Green, and ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll

Olivia Flowers, star of Southern Charm, is uncertain about the possibility of fully restoring her relationship with Taylor Ann Green following their dispute involving ex Austen Kroll. When asked if the two women could mend their damaged friendship, Olivia, 31, disclosed exclusively to us at BravoCon on Friday, November 3, saying, "I don't know. I mean, at this BravoCon, I'm not speaking to Taylor and Madison [LecCoy] is my close friend, so stranger things have occurred."

After joining the cast of Southern Charm in season 8, Olivia quickly formed a connection with Taylor, who is 28 years old. However, their relationship soon became tangled in drama. During the season 8 reunion in October 2022, Olivia disclosed that she and Austen, aged 36, had ended their relationship after a few months of dating. Several months later, rumors began circulating that Taylor and Austen had allegedly been involved prior to filming season 9.

The fallout from these rumors has unfolded on season 9, which premiered in September. In the beginning, both Taylor and Austen denied any romantic involvement between them. However, Taylor, who had previously been in a two-year relationship with co-star Shep Rose before they separated in July 2022, later admitted during a private conversation with Olivia that she and Austen had discussed the possibility of dating while he was still trying to reconcile with Olivia. Austen, on the other hand, confessed to Shep, who is 43, that he and Taylor had kissed.

While the two women momentarily made amends following Olivia’s brother's passing in January, she revealed to Us on Friday that her perception of Taylor and Austen has been altered as she watches season 9 unfold. She admitted to deriving valuable insights from the observations made about her when she is absent.

She finds it enlightening and frustrating to witness conversations occurring in her absence. She clarified that she is not currently communicating with Taylor, but her relationship with Austen fluctuates depending on the day. "He irritates me tremendously, but I also find pleasure in his company, so it's a peculiar situation," she remarked.

Taylor said on Friday that she and Olivia's problems have been put aside for now after their recent losses. Taylor lost her brother in June. However, they will have to address the drama again during the season 9 reunion. When informed about Taylor admitting that their friendship isn't at its best, Olivia responded by saying, "That's the first truthful thing she has said in a while."

In a conversation with Austen on Friday, the Trop Hop founder revealed that he finds it challenging to offer his opinion on the ongoing feud between Taylor and Olivia, as he admits to being the one responsible for instigating it.

"I embody the role of Taylor Swift in this situation, where I am admitting that I am the problem. It's my fault," he jokingly remarked to Us, alluding to Swift's popular song "Anti-Hero" from her 2022 album Midnights. "What bothers me is the realization of how close they were. And let me make it clear, it's not because [Taylor and I kissed], but rather because of the aftermath and their decision to be dishonest at that moment."

Austen expressed his distress over the thought of Taylor and Olivia's inseparable bond during the period between filming seasons 8 and 9 of Southern Charm, confiding in Us, "They were like best friends, you know? They were like me and Craig [Conover]."
