Oliver Hudson looked back on his mistakes in his relationship with his wife Erinn Bartlett.
"When I proposed, something inside me changed, and I went downhill," Hudson, 47, confessed on his podcast "Sibling Revelry" on Tuesday, April 9, while chatting with Robyn Lively. "I was disloyal, I was unfaithful, and I was acting irrationally."
He confessed, "I never got caught. I shared everything with her because I couldn't bear the guilt of keeping it to myself while being married and having children."
Hudson and Bartlett, who is 51 years old, tied the knot in 2006 and have three children together - Wilder, 16, Bodhi, 14, and Rio, 10.
Despite his infidelity, Hudson said he doesn’t have “many regrets” about his past.

During Tuesday's podcast, he shared, "I made a choice, whether it was good or bad. I've made some really bad choices in my life overall. Some might think I regret that decision, but I'm not sure who I would be if I hadn't made it."
Hudson praised his wife, describing her as an "amazing woman" as they addressed his mistake. He shared, "I was going through a tough time, and we were able to work through it together, like therapy, and come out stronger."
Hudson also mentioned that he often turns to his mom, Goldie Hawn, for advice.
"My mother also had a significant influence. It's important to consider the entire relationship, not just isolated actions," he remembered. "Even though it may seem intense, it's essential to understand the reasons behind it and see the person as a whole, not just focusing on one flaw. I know I'm a good person, not mean-spirited or anything like that."
He continued, "I was simply dealing with my own challenges at that time."
Despite a bump in the road, Hudson and Bartlett's relationship is still going strong. They shared that they had a close friendship filled with energy for a year and a half after meeting in an acting class.
Hudson reminisced about their first meeting, saying, "We were partners in a scene, and I immediately felt a connection with this girl. But I kept things platonic." He explained that the timing wasn't right initially due to their other relationships. However, everything changed during a wild weekend in Vegas for the Super Bowl.
During the same interview, Bartlett admitted that she felt a connection with Hudson “right away.”
