Sean Palmieri, the star of OC, is leaving the Oppenheim Group to join a different real estate firm. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Monday, November 20, Sean explained that the Oppenheim Group did not align with his values, and he is looking forward to what lies ahead. He recently became a partner and mentee to the highly successful Steve Games and their team, which has just debuted with Coldwell Banker West.
Sean expressed his delightful anticipation to reenter the real estate market in San Diego County, his new home following his relocation from Florida to California. He conveyed eagerness to discover the prospects that await his business and to achieve success within this flourishing community.
Sean's departure announcement follows the debut of the Selling the OC season 3 trailer during the Selling Sunset season 7 reunion on November 15. The teaser suggests that season 3 was filmed prior to his departure, although the release date for the new season has not been announced. Additionally, the clip insinuates that there will be significant tension between Sean and his Selling the OC co-stars in the upcoming third season premiere.
"Sean is facing difficulties as his business is going through a difficult phase," remarked Gio Helou. Tyler Stanaland chimed in, "He is yet to make a single sale."
At one point during a group excursion to the beach, Sean seemed to initiate a confrontation with Tyler, stating, "It would be quite convenient if I had my father providing me with all the listings."
In the upcoming events, there appears to be a confrontational clash between Sean and Austin Victoria relating to rumors, although the details remain undisclosed.
In the trailer, Austin queried, "Are you truly fabricating this nonsense?" Subsequently, tensions escalated between the two individuals, evident by Austin initiating a physical altercation with Sean.
Sean may not be the only cast member from The OC who is considering leaving after season 3. Tyler, aged 34, recently announced his departure from the O Group.
"I will be joining my father and brother at Douglas Elliman, and I am eager to collaborate with a brand that has unmatched market reach and influence, along with a distinguished network of agents and industry experts," he stated in a press release. "I am thrilled about this fresh start and the opportunity to work alongside my family once again."
Tyler and Sean are the first Selling the OC cast members to depart the O Group since the Selling Sunset spinoff premiered in August 2022.
