Considering their previous interactions with various celebrities, it was only a matter of time before Cenat and Minaj would connect on a livestream. On October 24, Cenat joined Nicki Minaj on her Instagram Live stream, but the Trinidadian-born rapper seemed displeased rather quickly. A circulating clip on social media captures Minaj's stunned and somewhat disgusted expression as she watches Kai Cenat eat loudly with his mouth open while conversing with her. Cenat then breaks into a goofy laugh, prompting Minaj to reprimand him with a remark, telling him to "sit [his] dumb a** down."

The Twitch streamer quickly grabs a chair, but fails to realize the rapper's anger until Minaj exclaims, "Who the f*** do you think you're talking to? Sit down, you foolish person!" Kai immediately falls silent, appearing confused. Before he can respond, he is swiftly removed from the livestream. Although it may appear that Minaj intentionally hung up on him, that may not be the case, despite her irritation. As the clip nears its end, Minaj's expression changes as she realizes Cenat has been disconnected, and she laughs, asking, "Why does it look like I hung up?"

In the comments under the posted clip, many people find the situation amusing but not overly serious. Some laugh at Cenat's embarrassment for angering Minaj, but believe the rapper will give him another chance. It is unclear why Cenat behaved strangely, but Minaj clearly expected him to be more respectful and excited about livestreaming with her.
