Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has signed a three-year contract with Al Ittihad, the champions of Saudi Arabia. The 32-year-old, who was part of the French national team that won the 2018 World Cup, will now be playing alongside his fellow countryman Karim Benzema. Benzema recently left Real Madrid to join Al Ittihad on a three-year deal as well.
"Don't believe in fake news. Kante is an Ittihad player now," the club posted in a video on Twitter.

Al Ittihad, led by former Wolves and Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo, outperformed Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo's team, by a margin of five points in the previous season. Furthermore, there are reports indicating that the former Leicester City midfielder has agreed to a contract worth approximately £86 million annually.
Kante leaves Chelsea after seven years at Stamford Bridge.
He won winning the Champions League, Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup during his time with the club.
The Frenchman encountered a series of injuries during his most recent season, which resulted in him being absent for a total of 38 matches across all competitions. Chelsea faced significant challenges without his presence, ultimately finishing in 12th place in the league.
