Mo Salah, the Liverpool and Egypt football star, is urging for the immediate allowance of humanitarian aid into Gaza. He is also calling on world leaders to take action in order to bring an end to the ongoing fighting. The Health Ministry in Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas, has reported that at least 3,478 individuals have lost their lives, while over 1,250 have been injured due to Israeli airstrikes. Israeli authorities have confirmed that this violence was triggered by Hamas' unexpected attack on October 7, resulting in the deaths of over 1,400 people in Israel.

Israel declared a "total blockade" of the area in response. However, President Joe Biden of the United States announced on Wednesday that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi had agreed to open the Rafah crossing into Gaza to provide humanitarian aid. This crossing is the only one not under Israel's control.

Following the explosion that tragically occurred at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza on Tuesday, Israel has presented evidence suggesting that the blast was caused by a misfire from the Islamic Jihad militant group. Despite this, Palestinian officials and a number of Arab leaders continue to accuse Israel of intentionally targeting the hospital during its ongoing airstrikes in Gaza.

Speaking in challenging times is never effortless. The level of violence, heartbreak, and brutality witnessed is just overwhelming," conveyed Salah through a social media video. "The unbearable escalations in the past few weeks have left an indelible mark."

I beseech world leaders to unite and halt the ongoing massacre of innocent lives. It is crucial for humanity to triumph in this situation.

The charity expressed gratitude to Mohamed Salah for his contribution in assisting the people of the Gaza Strip. They conveyed their heartfelt appreciation on Facebook.
