How to Find Mithril Ore in LOTR: Return To Moria
In the game, "Return To Moria," players will come across various new materials and recipes as they progress. Among them is Mithril, a highly valuable metal. Possessing Mithril Ingots allows players to craft a weapon capable of defeating the final boss, Narag-Shazon. Although Mithril is a common material in LotR: Return To Moria, it is not readily available, hence this guide will assist players in acquiring the necessary equipment and locating this precious ore.
Firstly, you can obtain Mithril ore by using Durin's Axe and Quarrymaster. Durin's Axe consists of 5 fragments that are scattered across the game. While they may be challenging to locate, this tool has the ability to remove obstructions and extract valuable resources, including Mithril.
How to Get Durin's Axe
To locate all the fragments of the tool previously possessed by the inaugural king of Moria, follow these steps:
The initial fragment can be found in Westgate, situated on the second floor of the building equipped with two staircases.
In The Second Hall, there is a hidden door, behind which the second fragment is located.
On The Bridge of Khazad-dûm, there is rubble, under which the third fragment lies.

To craft Quarrymaster, it is necessary to unlock the Great Forge of Narvi first. After that, it can be crafted using the following materials:
1 Black Diamond
6 Steel Ingot
6 Silver Ingot
8 Ubasam Wood
Having the necessary equipment, players can make their way to the Mithril Mine Shaft in the treacherous Darkest Deeps of Barazinbar, situated approximately 300 fathoms below the surface.
