Miranda Lambert has been a performer for the majority of her life and believes that there is a certain level of respect that should be maintained when on stage. While she understands that fans attend her shows to have a good time, she hopes that they will prioritize being present in the moment rather than using the occasion to promote their social media accounts. The source also mentions that Miranda is sincerely appreciative of her fans and considers herself fortunate to have such devoted supporters.

Lambert sang several lines of her hit “Tin Man” on Saturday before stopping to call out several fans in the audience for snapping shots of themselves.

"I need to pause for a moment, I apologize. These girls are more concerned about taking a selfie than paying attention to the song," the singer informed the audience, as per a TikTok video shared post-show. "It's getting on my nerves a little. I'm sorry, but I strongly dislike it."

She carried on, "We came here to enjoy some country music tonight. I am here to sing some authentic country music."

In the TikTok video, numerous fans were observed getting up from their seats and expressing their discontent with Lambert's remarks as they left.

"Time to leave. Seriously. You can't treat fans like that," one person commented.

Adela Calin, one of the individuals in the selfie, expressed her thoughts on Lambert's critical remarks in an interview with NBC News on Monday, July 17. Calin likened Lambert's scolding to that of a teacher's reprimand and stated that she was astonished by Lambert's behavior.

Calin further elaborated, saying, "It seems like she was determined to portray us as young, immature, and self-absorbed. However, we were simply a group of adult women ranging from our 30s to 60s attempting to capture a photo."

Calin expressed the group's immense excitement due to their belief that they had secured the finest seats in the entire theater. She mentioned that capturing the photo merely took approximately half a minute, and emphasized that they intended to resume their seats promptly after taking the picture.
