Michelle Young and Jack Leius: A Journey Through Their Relationship Milestones

Michelle Young was skeptical about finding a partner in her hometown of Minnesota until a mutual friend introduced her to her boyfriend, Jack Leius. During a January 2024 interview on the "Almost Famous" podcast, Young reminisced about their similar stages of breakup and the many hidden connections between them, such as frequenting the same bars and both having connections to the lake where Leius grew up.

Leius also mentioned that their first meeting led to them spending "four days together" and "dating by Sunday."

Young, who ended her engagement to Nayte Olukoya in June 2022, publicly revealed her relationship with Leius in October 2023. However, the former Bachelorette had hinted at their relationship a month earlier.

September 2023

Young and her friends decided to ride in a party bus to the Minnesota State Fair. In her social media recap video, Leius was among the group of friends, and later, she posted a photo of the two of them holding a large stuffed animal that they had apparently won.

October 2023

“Hit the Jackpot with you 🫶,” Young captioned two photos with her man via Instagram, hard launching the relationship.

The teacher flew to Mexico with Leius that month to partake in a friend’s wedding festivities. He was also featured in her video recap from a group trip to a Vikings game in October.

November 2023

“About the last few months … ,” Young wrote via Instagram, recapping the early days of her relationship, including dinner with friends and family hang outs.

December 2023

Leius posted a personal recap of his new relationship on social media, describing the photos as “Like a pair of denim jeans.” Young responded with a comment, “Made just for me.” Shortly after, the couple went on a romantic trip to the snow.

January 2024

Young brought Leius as her date to The Golden Wedding, where officiant Susan Noles seemed to cozy up to Leius. Young playfully teased Susan about trying to steal her man during the ceremony. She later shared an Instagram Story video in which Noles hugged Leius jokingly and said, “I found a date, I found a date!”

Young later joked that Noles should have her own season as the 2024 Golden Bachelorette to keep her away from Leius.
