Michael B. Jordan, 37, opened up about why he is taking his time when it comes to being in a relationship, even though he sometimes feels lonely.

During an episode of the "On Purpose With Jay Shetty" podcast on Monday, March 11, Jordan shared that he has realized the negative impact of his love for multitasking and managing multiple professions. This has resulted in a sense of loneliness that he finds difficult to shake off.

I feel a sense of loneliness. The burden of responsibility can make you feel isolated and weighed down. The hardest part is feeling like nobody truly gets it, sometimes leading to moments of solitude and loneliness.

When asked about finding love as the Sexiest Man Alive, Jordan chuckled and jokingly said he would go back to the previous question.

The Creed star elaborated on his response, saying, "I sometimes feel like I want a partner, but then I'm not sure who would be the best fit for me."

Jordan, who was crowned People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2020, mentioned that it can be challenging to bring a woman into his life.

He explained that it's more than just saying "I love you, you love me." Jordan believes that loving your partner should be sufficient, but acknowledges that it's not as straightforward as that.

He expressed that he is seeking a partner who can fully comprehend and accept all aspects of him. Jordan desires someone who can understand his need for a balance between being present and supportive while managing his other responsibilities.

He mentioned that he has had difficulty in being comfortable with prioritizing other aspects of his business. He highlighted the importance of sacrifice and compromise in relationships.

Jordan's reluctance to commit also comes from his extensive acting career, which he believes has held back his sense of adventure. "There's a part of me that feels like I haven't fully experienced life yet. I haven't had the chance to travel for leisure," he explained. "I need to start living more. I've focused on my career for so long, it's time to broaden my horizons."

He mentioned that he is not actively seeking a partner, but he believes that it would require someone very special to truly connect and evolve with him. Despite this, he did mention that he does hope to have a family in the future, leaving the possibility of romance open. He playfully teased, "We'll just have to wait and see."
