The Los Angeles Police Department is reportedly investigating Michael B. Jordan's recent car crash in Hollywood after a viral video of the accident surfaced. One Instagram caption alleged that Jordan was racing another Ferrari before losing control of his blue Ferrari and crashing into a parked car. The video was posted on Wednesday, December 13.

TMZ reported on Friday, December 15, that the LAPD is seeking evidence to confirm that 36-year-old Jordan was driving the racing Ferrari. If authorities discover any potential criminal wrongdoing during their investigation, they may refer the case to prosecutors for potential charges, according to TMZ's report.

On December 3, Jordan was driving his Ferrari when it collided with a parked Kia. The LAPD described the incident as a "traffic collision of a vehicle into a parked [car]" and stated that there were no indications of foul play or DUI evidence at the time.

The LAPD also confirmed that no arrests were made at the scene, noting that Jordan and the Kia driver did exchange information. Photos from the accident showed that the right fender and one tire had been ripped off Jordan’s car.

The video of the car accident involving Michael B Jordan in LA was initially shared on Wednesday and has since circulated widely on social media. Jordan has not made a public statement about the incident.

Tenshi Angel, the driver of the red vehicle in the video, discussed the incident with Entertainment Tonight on Friday. He mentioned that he was "just vibing out" when the blue Ferrari approached his vehicle.

"We were just pacing each other. This was a couple of blocks before the actual recording," Angel remembered. "We were just cruising. And then, around the next block, we started revving the engines a bit. Once we reached the next block, that's when we honked three times. I took off, and that's what led to the incident."

Angel explained that the cars were "revving engines" but not "going fast at all." He pointed out that they "weren't exactly side by side" when the accident occurred.

"He was a little bit behind me, maybe I want to say like a foot," Angel continued. "When you're in those types of cars ... sometimes it's hard to see."
