The trophies for the upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 1. have surfaced online, unveiling the very first trophy list for the original Metal Gear Solid game. This initial installment is scheduled to debut on October 24, bringing these beloved Metal Gear games to various platforms such as PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Players will now have the opportunity to earn numerous achievements across all platforms that support this feature, and each of the three Metal Gear Solid games will feature their own unique set of trophies.

This collection marks the second re-release of these iconic Metal Gear games, conveniently packaged together. Previously, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection was released in 2011 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Vita, featuring enhanced versions of Metal Gear Solid 2, 3, and Peace Walker, accompanied by individual trophy lists for each game. The Master Collection's trophy list has now been made available online, showcasing the original Metal Gear Solid's own distinct set of trophies.

This PowerPyx-posted trophy list for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection reveals that Metal Gear Solid has the fewest number of trophies to unlock, totalling at 19. These trophies consist of one Platinum, nine Gold, three Silver, and six Bronze trophies. The streamlined set prioritizes story-related achievements, achieved by vanquishing the game's bosses.

There are challenging trophies in this list, including obtaining the Fox and Big Boss codenames. To achieve this, players must play the game on Hard or Extreme difficulty, complete it in under 3 hours, kill at least 25 enemies, trigger 4 or fewer alerts, use one or no rations, and have no continues, all in one playthrough. Completing all over 300 VR missions can also prove troublesome due to varying difficulty. Additionally, players will need to beat the game twice to obtain the exclusive Stealth Camo and Infinite Ammo Bandana, which are tied to specific endings in Metal Gear Solid.

PowerPyx has also published trophy lists for the Master Collection's versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3. These versions have a total of 52 trophies for each game. While the lists are largely similar to the HD Collection's, the Master Collection introduces an additional six trophies for each game. These include achieving the Big Boss codename in MGS2 and completing the game without triggering an alert in MGS3. Players will face a challenging task if they aim to earn the Platinum trophy in the Master Collection.
