Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi confirms that Kylian Mbappe will continue playing for Paris Saint-Germain this season and is anticipated to renew his contract until 2025. The French international participated in practice with the first team on Sunday, solidifying his commitment to the club and its values.
Al-Khelaifi informed the PSG players on Sunday morning that Kylian remains dedicated to PSG, expressing that he is fully committed and ready to contribute to the team. This statement comes after Mbappe had previously assured PSG that he has no intention of departing the club during this transfer window and was even willing to forego playing for the entire season.
Mbappe's current deal expires in 2024 and PSG had accepted a £258m bid from Al Hilal last month, but the forward rejected the one-year move to Saudi Arabia.
PSG is currently in negotiations with Al Hilal for the transfer of Neymar, as the Brazilian player is prepared to make a move to Saudi Arabia.
PSG is seeking a substantial sum in exchange for Neymar, as they had initially bought him from Barcelona for a record-breaking fee of £200m. This will assist them in complying with financial fair play regulations.
At the age of 31, Neymar is not considered a pivotal player for new head coach Luis Enrique as he constructs a fresh team. PSG has shown willingness to offload him in order to concentrate on molding a younger, more ambitious squad.
