The journey begins in Dogtown with a phone call from an enigmatic Netrunner named Songbird. She seeks V's assistance in a critical situation. Dog Eat Dog Guide

The story of Dog Eat Dog kicks off with a phone call from a mysterious individual named Songbird, who claims to have the ability to save V's life. V is given the option to accept Songbird's proposal and arrange a meeting. Instructions to reach Songbird's location in Dogtown will be provided.

Located in Pacifica, Dogtown is a notorious black market district that is heavily fortified, making it inaccessible to regular visitors. Upon reaching the entrance gate, players are advised to turn right in order to initiate a cutscene featuring Songbird. During this encounter, Songbird silences Johnny and shares her predicament with V. She reveals that she is currently aboard a hijacked plane with the President of the NUSA (New USA), which is being forcefully redirected to land in Dogtown.

V serves as their sole contact on the ground, potentially representing their only hope for the President's survival. With the decision to lend assistance, Songbird grants V access to a newly unveiled skill set known as Relic Skills. Moreover, she guides V towards an optimal path to embark on this crucial undertaking.

Songbird guides V to an alternative entrance to Dogtown through a garage, bypassing the security checkpoint. However, a small obstacle arises as a couple of guards obstruct the way. Players have the choice to either sneak past them unnoticed or engage in combat. Opting for the stealthier approach proves to be more feasiable. By sticking to the rear and maneuvering around a military truck, a direct pathway to the garage entrance opens up. It is crucial for players to silently incapacitate two particular guards, ensuring their actions remain undetected.

Find the Maintenance Room

Subdue the guard positioned at the back of the vehicle and discreetly dispose of him in the adjacent dumpster. The second guard is stationed in front of two storage containers, oblivious to players approaching while in a crouched position. Once the guards have been effectively neutralized, players can swiftly make their way to the garage and smoothly slip under the door to proceed with the mission.

Upon entering the garage, players must progress further into its depths. On the right side, a small aperture awaits, necessitating a crouched position to crawl through. Their subsequent objective revolves around locating a power restoration access point within the edifice.

The path to the maintenance room is obstructed by a sizable metal sheet. To access the lower section of the garage, the sheet must be relocated. Upon descending, players will notice a flight of stairs leading up to the entrance of the maintenance room. However, the generator needs to be restarted before utilizing the access point.

Located at the rear left corner of the room, there stands the generator. Once activated, players can connect to the access point opposite the shelves near the entrance. From there, they can board the elevator and engage in another conversation with Songbird. Further progression in the parking garage will lead them across the technical boundary into Dogtown.

Reach the Car Elevator Platform

Players must proceed to the car elevator platform in order to locate the exit of the garage. Once they step off the small elevator, they should turn left and follow the location pin to the right. As players approach the platform, Songbird will activate the lights to guide their way.

Climb over the car obstructing the path and descend into the hole. Proceed towards section 2A, distinguished by an illuminated ramp nearby. Ascend the ramp and scale the van fitted with a steel beam resting against it. Upon nearing, the bridge to the platform will automatically lower itself, allowing V to step onto it. Songbird will then activate the bridge while they are standing on it.

Find the Catwalk

Once the elevator ride ends and V steps out, the railing breaks, causing them to descend another level. Their immediate goal is to locate the catwalk on the upper floor. As players progress, Songbird will continuously illuminate the surroundings. Continuing forward, V needs to climb atop an inverted car and then proceed to the left, patiently waiting for Songbird to provide a small platform while posing questions about Johnny.

Continue along the illuminated paths until reaching a car adjacent to a platform. If players possess a Body stat of 11 or greater, they have the ability to lower the platform and utilize it as a convenient shortcut. Otherwise, they must proceed towards the right without deviation.

Navigating through larger gaps and higher terrain becomes more intricate, however, V can continue progressing bravely. Ultimately, they will catch sight of Songbird positioned on a catwalk opposite a damaged platform. By stepping onto the catwalk, they can trail behind Songbird and reach the elevator leading out of the garage.

Go to the Construction Site

Riding the elevator brings players down to the ground level, where they have the opportunity to exit through an external garage door if their Body stat is at least three. Afterwards, proceed up the stairs and turn left to gain access to the black market. Within the market, players will be guided towards a railing, where they will halt and engage in another conversation with Songbird regarding their destiny entwined with the relic.

After a short discussion:

Go through the market until a set of double doors is next to a happy hour sign.

Go through the gates and head to the roof access door through the construction site.

Take the stairs and follow the path to a yellow ladder up to the roof.

At the top of the ladder, Songbird inadvertently causes a power outage in the roof elevator by accidentally blowing the fuse. To assist her in restoring power and accessing the rooftop, players can directly connect to the nearby access point opposite the ladder. By doing so, they can ride the elevator to the building's pinnacle. If they continue climbing along the roof, they will gain a superior vantage point from which to observe the President's flight. Unfortunately, they witness the aircraft crash before it has the opportunity to land.

In Dog Eat Dog, the ultimate goal is to descend the garbage chute and locate the crash site, marking the end of the Phantom Liberty introduction.
