Conduit's abilities are heavily inspired by the Monarch Titan from Titanfall 2. Just like the Monarch, Conduit has an Upgrade Core that enhances her combat capabilities based on the choices made by her Pilot during battles. Additionally, Conduit can siphon power from enemy Titans, using it to recharge her shields or support friendly Titans. In Titanfall 2's multiplayer mode, the Monarch is the only Titan that can gain shields without relying on a battery. The influence of Monarch on Conduit's battlefield skills is evident when examining the abilities listed below.

Passive: Savior's Speed
Conduit gets a speed boost when running towards squadmates who are outside the range of her tactical ability.
Tactical: Radiant Transfer
By utilizing its power, Conduit grants a burst of energy to a fellow squad member, replenishing their shields as well as its own momentarily.
Ultimate: Energy Barricade
Employing a series of shield-jammers, Conduit inflicts damage upon enemy shields and also slows down adversaries upon impact or when they come into contact with it.
Class Abilities: Access Extended Supply Bins and Craft Ally Banners
As a legend in the Support class, Conduit possesses two additional abilities. The first ability, called Access Extended Supply Bins, allows Conduit to unlock the hidden compartment in special blue Supply Bins found throughout the map. These compartments always contain large healing items such as Med Kits, Shield Batteries, and Phoenix Kits, as well as at least one Survival Item like Heat Shields, Mobile Respawn Beacons, or Evac Towers. Conduit and her squadmates can freely loot these items as needed.
The second exclusive ability for Support legends is called Craft Ally Banners, and it is exceptionally powerful. With this ability, Conduit can utilize a Replicator to create Banner Cards for fallen teammates, even if their respawn timer has already expired. This feature alleviates the tedious and risky process of respawning, especially considering that players now retrieve their previous armor and weapons upon respawning.
Conduit's tactical ability provides a temporary restoration of approximately three shield slots.
Tips
Once you have familiarized yourself with Conduit's abilities, it is time to test them out. Utilize the following tips and techniques to maximize the potential of Conduit's versatile skill set.
Watch your shields
During intense combat, it may feel instinctive to mindlessly activate the tactical button. However, it is important to save Conduit's Radiant Transfer tactical ability. Using it when Conduit or her squadmates are already fully healed would be wasteful. As a Conduit player, you should actively monitor the status of both your own shields and those of your squadmates.
Use the ultimate game-changer
Conduit's Energy Barricade ultimate ability is an effective tool for area denial and possesses considerable power on its own. However, making the right decision on when to utilize it can be the determining factor between survival and defeat. Most legends have ultimate abilities that are meant to be used during intense combat situations, allowing players to exert pressure at critical moments, make swift escapes, or create temporary distractions. While Conduit's ultimate is useful when surrounded by enemies, its ability to slow down foes is relatively mild in comparison to other legends with formidable stopping capabilities (such as Ash). The Energy Barricade's nodes can be easily destroyed, thus sometimes rendering them more of an inconvenience than a lethal trap.
If you find yourself dissatisfied with the performance of Conduit's ultimate, consider altering the way you employ it. It proves highly effective in confined spaces like buildings, particularly when combined with Wattson's Perimeter Security fences, Caustic's Nox Gas Traps, Catalyst's passive Barricade ability, or Ash's Arc Snare. By doing so, Conduit's Energy Barricade becomes a formidable force, granting you precious seconds to eliminate an enemy who finds themselves cornered and immobilized.
Energy Barricade can serve as an effective diversion when used strategically. Instead of waiting for a face-to-face encounter with an opponent wielding a Peacekeeper, coordinate with your teammates and deploy Conduit's Energy Barricade from a safe distance, keeping yourself hidden. This tactic is relatively easy since the Energy Barricade can be placed up to approximately 45 meters away. Utilizing this ability stealthily can yield highly impactful (and often entertaining) outcomes. Enemues, unaware of its origin, tend to prioritize destroying the individual nodes of the Energy Barricade, diverting their attention and creating an ideal opportunity for surprise attacks, even when they are exposed in the open rather than gathered within a structure.
Energy Barricade possesses significant potential in specific situations, but its nodes can be easily obliterated. Speaking of ambushes, Energy Barricade proves valuable in third-party scenarios or when finishing off the remaining members of a squad that narrowly survived an assault from another squad. If you encounter two enemy squads locked in combat, consider throwing Conduit's ultimate ability at them to inflict damage on both sides. However, due to the Energy Barricade's long throwing range, it may be more advantageous to wait until one of the squads eliminates the other. Take the opportunity to toss the Energy Barricade before the surviving squad members have a chance to revive their fallen comrades or heal themselves, and strike when the timing is ideal.
Timing is everything
Talking about time, it's important to note that Conduit's tactical Radiant Transfer ability is highly time-sensitive. It requires approximately 21 seconds to recharge between each usage and once activated, it lasts for a total of 30 seconds. While this may seem straightforward in theory, the practical aspect is more intricate.
During the 30-second duration, the initial 6 seconds are dedicated to slowly charging up Conduit's shields as well as those of her teammates. Additionally, during this time, up to three EVO Shield slots can be temporarily refilled. This makes it an excellent option to completely restore a Rare-tier EVO Shield that has been completely depleted or to top up a damaged Epic-tier, Legendary-tier, or Mythic-tier EVO Shield. Once the temporary shield is in place, it will continue to provide protection for the following 24 seconds. However, after this time, it will start to rapidly deplete, eventually leaving players right where they began. It's important to note that if a player sustains damage during the initial 6 seconds of charging, it will take a full second for the shield to start charging again, reducing the overall active time of the ability.
Heal up
In order to maximize the effectiveness of Radiant Transfer, it is recommended to use it on teammates whose shields are already damaged and who are about to engage in a second firefight. It is advised not to wait until they are already in the midst of the battle, as Radiant Transfer may not provide sufficient protection if they have already taken damage before the temporary shield is fully charged after 6 seconds.
Heal up
While Radiant Transfer is commonly used to safely engage enemy squads when injured, it can also be valuable in a more cautious approach. If your squad is low on shields and under heavy fire, finding a hiding spot and activating Radiant Transfer will allow you to repair your shields. You can use Shield Cells and Shield Batteries to restore your permanent EVO Shield even while Radiant Transfer is active, giving you an additional boost. For example, if you have a Mythic-tier EVO Shield with 5 shield slots that is completely damaged, Radiant Transfer will replenish 3 of those slots. However, using a Shield Cell while Radiant Transfer is active will immediately refill a shield slot, resulting in a total of 4 out of 5 shield slots filled. Although Conduit's tactical ability is commonly utilized for aggressive plays, it is equally valuable during chaotic engagements involving multiple squads where taking cover, healing, and hoping that Bloodhound does not appear and eliminate you before you can recover is the only option.
Watch your squad's back
Conduit stands out among support-class legends by earning a unique advantage for safeguarding her squadmates. When a teammate strays beyond the range of Conduit's tactical ability, she gains a temporary passive speed boost just by directing her gaze towards them while running. This boost, similar to Bangalore's speed boost while under fire, proves invaluable when trying to catch up to a squadmate who has dashed ahead or when struggling to keep pace with them. In the ever-unpredictable realm of Apex Legends, extra speed is always advantageous, so make the most of Conduit's passive ability, known as Savior's Speed, whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Conduit's speed boost, acquired by staying close to teammates beyond her ability's range, grants a practical advantage, particularly when racing towards a firefight while running late.
Be iconic
During the chaos of battle, it can be challenging to keep track of Conduit's abilities and utilize them effectively. Fortunately, simply glancing in the general vicinity of your squadmates uncovers a wealth of useful tactical information. An icon will appear on their bodies, indicating whether they require a shield boost, eliminating the need to constantly divert your attention to the lower corner of the screen to gauge their health status. Similarly, an icon will materialize when they are sufficiently far away to trigger Savior's Speed. Therefore, ensure your reticle is locked onto them while sprinting to keep pace and remain vigilant for the small shield and distance status icons that manifest when focusing on them.
Teammates who are not currently in need of a shield boost will have a full shield icon displayed.
Craft it up
As a Support-class legend, Conduit has the advantage of not having to put herself in risky situations to retrieve fallen allies' Banner Cards. Instead, she can easily head to the nearest Replicator and craft a new Banner Card. Replicating each Banner Card requires 30 Crafting Materials, so it's advisable for Conduit to always carry at least 60 Crafting Materials in case she becomes the sole surviving member of the squad. Additionally, it's wise for Conduit to have a Mobile Respawn Beacon on hand for late-game respawns. This can be challenging to accomplish since the final ring often closes around an area without accessible or usable Respawn Beacons activated by other squads.
Talk it out
Apex matches aren't won by skill alone--it's teamwork that makes the dream work in Respawn's often punishing battle royale. However, when it comes to Conduit's class-exclusive Banner Card-crafting ability, there's an interesting twist. Despite being class-exclusive, this ability actually extends to Conduit's squadmates. So, even if Conduit is eliminated and waiting to be respawned, her other two squadmates can still craft Banner Cards. Whether you're playing as Conduit or have her on your squad, it's important to remember this advantageous feature.
To maximize your chances of reaching the winner's circle in Apex, effective communication is key, especially when playing as Conduit. Planning your moves in advance and keeping your squad informed is crucial. If, for example, you intend to trap an enemy squad inside a building while Valkyrie tries to lure them out and Octane plans to rush in aggressively, coordination is vital. While Apex's ping system facilitates nonverbal communication, giving verbal directions, particularly with Conduit, can greatly enhance teamwork and success.
Ensure that you plan the positions of each squad member before an ambush and inform them before using Conduit's Energy Barricade in the midst of a five-team firefight. Additionally, it's important for the entire team to monitor their health and shields. A crucial aspect is informing squadmates about your intention to manually retrieve their banner card or craft it at a Replicator. Many players tend to quit immediately after becoming a deathbox, so it's vital to let them know if you plan to respawn them, especially if their Banner Card retrieval timer is running out. With practice and some experimentation in the Firing Range, you can quickly become skilled with Conduit's abilities and dominate the battlefield. By following our guide, you'll have no trouble taking down enemies and protecting your squad. However, it's best not to become overconfident, at least until your Radiant Transfer shield has fully charged. Lore
Name: Rowenna Valentina Coffey Divina
Callsign: Conduit
Age: 27
Homeworld: Nexus (a neutral planet, one of the few that has not yet joined Syndicate Space)
Legend class: Support
Rowena, who is of Filipino descent, was raised on the planet Nexus and assumed the responsibility of taking care of her siblings by herself. Respawn has not provided any evidence to suggest that either of Rowena's parents are present in her life. However, her eldest sister, Diwa, eventually assumed the role of primary caregiver for their younger siblings. In the Conduit's episode of Stories From The Outlands, we witness a younger version of Rowena seeking shelter with Diwa as their home is demolished by a group of Pilots. These Pilots are highly skilled combatants who pilot the massive combat mechs seen in Respawn's Titanfall series.
But amidst despair, a beacon of hope emerges: a skilled Pilot in a Monarch-class Titan. Leading the enemy away from Rowena's settlement, the Monarch Pilot made a selfless sacrifice by allowing their Titan to explode, obliterating all enemy Titans and their Pilots. Tragically, this meant the loss of both the Monarch and its nameless hero. (Contrary to expectations, the Monarch-class Titans were created by the IMC. However, Respawn confirmed that this specific Titan was part of a group that the IMC had lost track of during the Frontier War, and its pilot was a rebel aligned with the pro-Nexus faction, not a soldier who suddenly changed allegiances during a massacre.)
Temporarily, tranquility returned as the settlement was rebuilt and all seemed well... until it wasn't. One day, while Rowena was engaging in an endearing make-believe Apex match with her siblings (who were dressed as the legends from the Apex Games), Diwa returned home after a prolonged absence, visibly wounded. Respawn informed Our Website that Diwa had taken on perilous contracts in order to support her family. Unfortunately, she suffered a devastating accident on the job, resulting in the crushing of one of her arms by heavy machinery. The severity of the injury necessitated amputation at the wrist. Witnessing Diwa's tearful state as she struggled with overdue bills, Rowena made the courageous decision to take control of her family's financial destiny.
That night, she sneaked into the restricted area where the Monarch Pilot's sacrifice took place. She salvaged the remains of the Monarch to create her own compact combat rig, much like how Rampart aided Valkyrie in transforming her father's Northstar Titan into a powerful jetpack armed with missiles. Rowena began participating in local tournaments and eventually earned a spot in the Apex Games. However, her newfound abilities came at a cost. The reason why the site of the Monarch's sacrifice was fenced off becomes evident – the entire area remains highly radioactive, even years after the battle.
Rowena, after successfully lifting her family out of poverty and realizing her dream of joining the esteemed legends in the Apex Games, wears a smile that hides a secret burden. The nuclear fallout from the modified Titan battery she dons is slowly poisoning her. Although her friends and family back home are ecstatic for her achievements, Diwa has come to realize the origin of Rowena's armor and the deadly toll it will eventually take. In one of the Season 19 battle pass's transition screens, Conduit is seen standing over Ash's motionless body, live-streaming her impressive skills on the battlefield to her loved ones at home. While everyone on the screen appears thrilled, a closer look at Rowena's phone screen reveals Diwa's presence, although it seems that she cannot bear to watch her younger sister play.
Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z netizen, I am excited about the release of Conduit in Apex Legends. Her abilities seem very interesting, and I can't wait to try her out. I think she will be a great addition to the game, and I am looking forward to seeing how she changes the meta.
However, I am also a little bit concerned about Conduit's power level. Her abilities seem very strong, and I am worried that she might be too powerful. I hope that Respawn will be able to balance her properly so that she is not too strong or too weak. Overall, I am excited about the release of Conduit, and I think she will be a great addition to Apex Legends. I can't wait to try her out and see how she changes the game.
