The easiest way to check your voicemail inbox is by calling your voicemail using your own phone. Here's how to do so using various methods and carriers.

How to Call Your Voicemail on Any Carrier

To access voicemail on an Android device, simply open the Phone app and press and hold down the 1 key. You can also try this method even if the 1 key does not have a voicemail icon. Although we provide instructions for popular US cellular carriers with extra tips, this is the crucial information you should remember.

Listen to Your AT&T Voicemails

To access your voicemail system, if you're an AT&T customer, open the Phone app on your phone and long press the number 1. This will initiate a call to your voicemail.

When you're connected, input your voicemail password, and you'll be able to listen to your unheard voicemails. To access saved voicemails, press the number 1 on your phone's keypad.

Access Your Verizon Voicemails

If you're a Verizon subscriber, access your voicemails by launching the Phone app and dialing either *86

Once connected to the system, input your voicemail password to access and listen to your voice messages. Alternatively, you have the option to use the Voicemail app in your phone's app drawer to access your Visual Voicemail.

Hear Your T-Mobile Voicemails

T-Mobile gives you two ways to access your voicemails.

To access your voicemail, you have two options:

1. Open the Phone app, press and hold down 1 to connect to your voicemail system, and enter your password.

2. Dial the voicemail number: 1-805-637-7249. When you hear the voicemail greeting, press the * (asterisk) sign to interrupt it, and then enter your voicemail password.

For Visual Voicemail, you'll need to use the T-Mobile Visual Voicemail app.

Find Your US Cellular Voicemails

Instructions for accessing voicemail on your Android phone with US Cellular:

To access your voicemail, simply open the Phone app on your phone. From there, you have two options:

Option 1: Dial *86 or your own 10-digit mobile number.

Option 2: Hold down the number 1 on your phone's keypad.

Once you have selected either option, you will be prompted to enter your voicemail password. Once entered, you will gain access to your available voice messages.

How to Dial Voicemail From Another Phone

If you don't have access to your own phone, don't worry. You can use any phone to access your voicemails with various carriers. Here's how.

Get Access to Your AT&T Voicemails

Dial your 10-digit AT&T number from another phone. Interrupt the voicemail greeting by pressing the * (asterisk) button. If you reach the main voicemail system, enter your 10-digit AT&T phone number followed by the * (asterisk) sign.

When prompted, input your voicemail password.

Retrieve Your Verizon Voicemails

To listen to your Verizon voicemails from your other phone, dial your 10-digit Verizon phone number. When you hear the voicemail greeting, press the # key.

Enter your voicemail password, and you'll have access to all your voicemails.

Listen to Your T-Mobile Voicemails

From any phone, dial your T-Mobile phone number and let the voicemail greeting play. Then, press the * (asterisk) sign on your keypad.

Enter your voicemail password, and you'll be in your voicemail system.

Access Your US Cellular Voicemails

On another device, open the Phone application and dial your 10-digit US Cellular phone number. Once the voicemail greeting begins, press the * (asterisk) key. Next, enter your voicemail password to gain access to all of your received voicemails.
