In Chapter 15 of World Tour mode, players of Street Fighter 6 are in for an intense fighting experience as they take on six formidable opponents as part of the Suval'hal Martial Arts Tournament. To emerge victorious, players will need to be at least level 40, as all opponents are level 50 or higher. While healing items and power-boosting consumables are available, players must prepare beforehand as there will be no opportunity to purchase more between fights. Each of the six opponents requires a unique strategy, putting players' skills to the ultimate test.
Chapter 15 - 1: Divine Struggle Walkthrough
Players who struggle with inserting the Safety Pin back into the championship belt will receive a notification from Punch indicating that the tournament is about to commence. It is advisable for them to take a moment to gather healing items and power-boosting consumables, as they must participate in six consecutive challenging battles. They can acquire funds easily by playing the Scrap Heap mini-game in Metro City and utilize the money to buy Fortress Caramels and small Energy Drinks from either Shopkeeper Udon in the Urban Park area of Metro City or the Merchant in the resistance's mountain hideout.
Players can reach the Suval'hal Arena entrance by taking a detour after crossing the gap using Chun-Li's Master Action. Instead of heading straight, they should turn left and use another Master Action to cross a second gap. Following this, climbing a few ladders will lead them to the entrance where Punch will be waiting on the stairs. Speaking with him is required to enter the arena and start a round. To reach the arena, players should make their way up to Mount Vashal and head towards the resistance hideout, crossing under the waterfall along the way.
Players will face a formidable fighter in Brois Gagarin, who is a Zangief disciple, during the first round of the tournament. Aggressive play is acceptable, but players must be cautious of Brois' throw maneuvers and charging grab. The former can be countered by attempting a throw maneuver of their own, whereas the latter can be handled with Specials or Drive Impacts. Manon's Manege Dore Special is an excellent choice for this and many other difficult battles in World Tour mode, as it becomes increasingly powerful with each subsequent use.
Players will face off against Carmela, a passive mid-range fighter in Round 2 of the tournament. She prefers to stay at a distance and rely on projectiles, making it easy for opponents to defeat her with repetitive special moves like Ryu's Hadouken or Dhalsim's Yoga Flame. However, this approach can be tedious, so players should instead aim to trap her in a corner and unleash powerful specials to quickly take her down.
Gora Ndiaye, Round 3's opponent, utilizes E. Honda's fighting style and possesses immense power in his punches and throws. To defeat him, players should refrain from recklessly attacking and instead focus on a block-and-counter approach. In addition, players can effectively diminish Gora's health bar by cornering him and utilizing Drive Impacts and assist combos.
Players will face off against Lima Bien in Round 4, who, like Carmela, is without a master. He specializes in mid to long-range combat, so players must close the distance and use their most powerful attacks to avoid being bombarded with projectiles. Lima Bien's teleportation ability can make executing throws a bit more challenging, but players can turn this to their advantage by capitalizing on Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick or Ryu's Tatsumaki Senpukyaku Specials when he teleports.
It is advised to approach the final tournament fight against Bosch with caution. Although defeating him is possible, it offers no significant advantage. Players who are under-leveled and relying on items may consider conceding defeat. To defeat Bosch, players should focus on jumping over the first part of his charge attack and then blocking the remaining attacks. One should be cautious as the charge attack has the potential to wipe out half of the player's health bar. Throws are an effective way to deal damage as Bosch usually blocks regular attacks and Specials. In between fights, players cannot purchase more healing items, so it is recommended to save a few for the fight following Bosch. Players who lose any of the six fights will have to restart the entire tournament, so it is better to be safe than sorry.
After the fight with Bosh, players will encounter JP, who is a bit easier to defeat but still poses a threat. To take him down, players should adopt an aggressive approach and try to corner him. This will help in neutralizing his attacks to a great extent. However, preventing him from using his Specials is crucial, and players should be ready to counter them with a Drive Impact or throw move.
Upon defeating JP, players will be treated to a final cutscene before the end credits start to roll. Upon regaining control, they will receive a Gold Nugget and 15,000 Miles, which can be sold for a decent amount of Zenny. If it's their first time completing World Tour mode, they will also unlock the "At Journey's End" Trophy/Achievement. However, there is still one more main story mission that they must complete.
Chapter 15 - 2: What it Means to Be Strong Walkthrough
To truly understand the concept of strength, one may assume that a journey of self-discovery is necessary. However, this is not the case for the completion of "What it Means to Be Strong." By simply speaking with the Infooencer NPC, located in the Beat Square area of Metro City, players can complete the task. The NPC will inquire if they have found the strength they were seeking, and players can choose the response options "Sure did" and "Yeah, that's right." Upon doing so, players will be rewarded with the Street Fighter 6 key art, which can be used as the playable character's cellphone wallpaper.
Chapter 15 Loose Ends
While most missions in World Tour mode are completed within the chapter they are introduced in, there are a few exceptions that can only be finished later on. One such mission is the "Brother and Sister" quest found in Chapter 10. Unlike the other missions, it isn't completed automatically as part of the main story. Players must speak with Yua in the Lowlands during the daytime after completing the main story to finish this mission. As a reward, players will receive Yua's Necklace and Kina's Necklace items.
Optional Master: JP (Post-Game)
There is a limited amount of noteworthy post-game content available in the World Tour mode of Street Fighter 6. However, there are still a few activities that can be pursued. The primary objective is to unlock JP as a World Tour mode Master, which requires visiting the Suval'hal Arena - Entrance during nighttime hours.
Upon reaching the destination, players are encouraged to ascend the steps leading to the viewing platform that offers a breathtaking view of the mountain's edge. JP, the Master, can be found here, gazing into the distance. Engaging in a conversation with him will allow players to become his student, marking the attainment of the prestigious "Legendary Disciple" title for those who have chosen him as their final mentor. Street Fighter 6 can be played on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
