The second to last chapter of Street Fighter 6 World Tour mode, Chapter 14, delves deeper into the resistance's strategy against Bosch and the backstory of Nayshall. This chapter also introduces players to the game's primary antagonist and concludes with a showdown against an old adversary. Completing Chapter 14 will take approximately an hour, with the scavenger hunt-style mission at the onset requiring most of the time. As players progress through the chapter, they will encounter frequent fights and obstacles, making it essential to equip themselves with ample healing items.
Chapter 14 - 1: From One Friend to Another Walkthrough
Players will receive a message at the start of Chapter 14 in World Tour mode, outlining the items they need to collect. Starting at the Red Steel Factory in the Urban Park area of Metro City is a logical first step, as both the Spring and Connector can be found there. If the gate has already been unlocked, players can head straight up the ladder near the entrance. Otherwise, they will need to make their way to the back of the building and work their way around to the front.
Players will be guided to a chest that holds one of the items and the button to press in order to retrieve it upon gaining entry. After the brief cinematic, they must continue to follow the path that leads outside and up a flight of stairs. Here, on an exterior walkway, lies a SiRN chest that contains the Connector. Further ahead, they will come across the button shown earlier. After defeating the hostile enemies, they can push the button and drop down to unlock the chest that holds the Spring, which is protected by a few drones.
Players can wrap up their time in Metro City by paying a return visit to Leonardo the counterfeiter, who can be found once again on Skywalk Lane. To reach him, players can take the walkway across the street from the Hangout - the same path they took when first meeting Leonardo in Chapter 3 of World Tour mode. Once there, Leonardo will provide players with the Connector and Safety Pin, enabling them to travel to the Ranger's Hut area of Brazil via the World Map screen.
Players can acquire the Gold Medal by conversing with Blanka-Chan numerous times and persistently selecting the negative dialogue option. After a while, Blanka-Chan will become irritated by the constant insults regarding their cuteness, leading to a fight. Despite the opponent being a Level 50, the battle is relatively effortless as Blanka-Chan is significantly slower and weaker compared to even the most formidable fighters. Once the fight is won, players will be presented with the Gold Medal as a prize.
To obtain the final two items, players must travel to Nayshall and change the time of day to Night by stopping by the Hangout. The Capacitors can be acquired by venturing to the Vashal Foothills through the Central Bazaar region. Within this area, a Vagrant Fridge can be found and defeated in combat. The fridge will deflect most attacks when its door is closed, so players should focus on blocking until it begins to eject individual food items. This is the opportune moment to strike while the door is open. While Drive Impacts and Master Assists can prove useful, a straightforward projectile Special like Ryu's Hadouken or Dhalsim's Yoga Fire is much more effective.
Players must continue their journey by heading towards the Lowlands, crossing a pipe and a wooden plank that leads to the area where Bao was found in Chapter 11 of World Tour mode. They'll encounter an agile Roomba-type enemy, labeled MS400V, hidden behind a group of irate appliances that they must defeat. Despite its high speed, players can easily take it down by using low kicks repeatedly, effectively hitting the enemy as it zooms by.
Chapter 14 - 2: The Transporter Walkthrough
Upon collecting all five parts, players must seek out Rewancha in the Central Bazaar area of Old Nayshall during daytime hours. Once located, Rewancha will instruct players to make their way up Mount Vashal. Upon completion of this task, players will be rewarded with 10,000 Zenny and three Ultra Mighty Jawdecimators. Don't forget to bring
along for the journey.
Chapter 14 - 3: Mountain of History Walkthrough
Players who have unlocked it can use the "Vashal Foothills - Ruins" bus stop for fast travel and then turn right towards the dusty trail. Upon approaching, a prompt will ask if they want to go to Mount Vashal. The player should select "Yes" and follow the path until they reach Kalima. After a brief history lesson, Kalima will request that the player return during nighttime hours.
Chapter 14 - 4: The Mountain Hideout Walkthrough
To progress further, players need to return to the Hangout and change the time of day to Night. After that, they can head straight back to the mountain and venture deeper into the cave system. They should follow the path leading upwards until they reach a ledge in front of a waterfall. Here, they can utilize the Spinning Bird Kick Master Action by holding R2 (PlayStation) or RT (Xbox) and then pressing the corresponding face button to make their way forward.
Upon reaching the other side of the waterfall, Kalima and Rewancha will unveil their plan to take down JP. However, the playable character is hesitant and unsettled by their strategy. The ensuing battle with Rewancha is reminiscent of the one in Chapter 7 of World Tour Mode, with the exception of his utilization of Drive Impact attacks. To counter these, players should be prepared to execute their own Drive Impacts as necessary. Otherwise, employing the traditional block and punish method will prove effective in securing a swift victory.
Chapter 14 - 5: The Clock is Ticking Walkthrough
To complete the final mission of Chapter 14 in Street Fighter 6, players must navigate through the tunnels located at the back of the mountain hideout and make their way to the basement of the Surval'hal Arena. Following the quest marker will lead them to the room where the championship belt is kept, triggering a cutscene with JP. Upon completion of the cutscene, players will be rewarded with 2,000 Miles and the mission and chapter will be marked as complete. Street Fighter 6 is currently available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
