How to Get Double Jump in Blasphemous 2 (Passage of Ash)
To fully experience Blasphemous 2, players must unlock all of its abilities to earn the prestigious Ultima Ratio trophy/achievement, except for those playing on the Nintendo Switch. Among these abilities is the Passage of Ash, a skill that grants the Penitent One the power to perform a second jump, often referred to by gamers as a double jump. This newfound ability opens up the map, enabling players to embark on further exploration and ultimately reach the conclusion of Blasphemous 2, allowing the credits to roll. This guide aims to assist players in uncovering the location where they can unlock the invaluable double jump, bringing them one step closer to achieving their goals.
To reach the double jump skill in Blasphemous 2, players must possess all three unlockable weapons: Ruego Al Alba, Veredicto, and Sarmiento & Centella. While players can choose a starting weapon, the other two must be discovered on the map. For a concise overview of the weapon locations, refer to our guide.
Ruego Al Alba - Crown of Towers
Veredicto - Sacred Entombments
Sarmiento & Centella - Palace of the Embroideries
Once players possess all three weapons, they must proceed to a region known as Beneath Her Sacred Grounds, situated south of Mother of Mothers, beneath Profundo Lamento and City of the Blessed Name. The specific location is indicated on the map provided below.
In order to access Ash's room, players are required to first defeat a boss called Afilaor, who is known as the Sentinel of the Emery. Although he may not be one of the toughest bosses, it is advisable for players to enhance their healing flasks by adding Empty Receptacles. This will significantly facilitate the fight and make it slightly easier.
