Little Tokyo: Plant Science

The Little Tokyo: Plant Science EMF experiment is situated in Chinatown, just slightly northwest of the bridge that leads to Williamsburg. Upon successfully finishing the Side Story, players will be rewarded with 140 Tech Parts and three Rare Tech Parts.

To progress, players must navigate around the building and locate the plant specimens, which should be straightforward. However, Spider-Man will then have to solve a Plant Attribute puzzle. In order to solve it, players must arrange hexagonal shapes in the designated slots, ensuring that the lines on each end align with the adjacent shapes. Additionally, there are prerequisites to consider, such as placing at least two tiles with the leaf icon and one tile with the sun icon.

Thankfully, we have the puzzle solution below:

The left-bottom slot should be the leaf with two yellow sticks out the bottom.

The one to the right of the leaf should be the H icon with two yellow ticks at the top.

The space at the top should be the other leaf tile.

The tile underneath the leaf should be the sun.

The water tile should be to the right of the sun.

Central Park: Bee Drones

Check out Central Park's EMF Experiment spot on the Upper West Side of NYC. No puzzle needed here - players simply have to pilot a drone and shoot targets while flying into markers to successfully accomplish the mission.

Central Park: Energy

Reward: 700 XP, Three Rare Tech Parts, 140 Tech Parts

Look around the northwest corner of Central Park to find this EMF Experiment in Harlem.

There's no puzzle to this one, but players will need to ride an electric bicycle as Peter and pedal through some checkpoints. Keep pressing the X button to gain some speed.

Queens Apiary: Bee Drones

Reward: 700 XP, Three Rare Tech Parts, 140 Tech Parts

Prospect Park: Bee Drones

No puzzle is involved in this task. Players are required to maneuver a drone in order to eliminate digital bees and subsequently guide the drone to track a bird and accompany it back to its nest. It is important to shoot the bird to maintain its momentum.

Shoot the rats and bees using the drone, then navigate through the designated points of interest. Unfortunately, Spider-Man will steal the drone. Track the marker leading to the park below, and proceed to the specified location on the map in order to establish a connection between the drone and the signal tower.

Use the drone to shoot the glass cages filled with bees and defeat the gang with Spider-Man to finish the mission.

Brooklyn Heights: Energy

Reward: 700 XP, Three Rare Tech Parts, 140 Tech Parts

For this EMF Experiment, players will need to use their glider (triangle) to reach a high enough point to deploy turbines.

Portside: Plant Science

Puzzle 1

To complete this challenge, players must eliminate the corrupted red atoms without causing any harm to the green ones.

Examine the two red atoms that form a sideways 'Y' shape. Destroying one of them will result in the destruction of the other.

There are two red atoms positioned alongside a group of four green atoms. Destroy the adjacent atoms by shattering the red atom situated at the edge.

Two red atoms are located within a hexagon. Break the rock-like object, resembling brown, positioned between them.

Click on the remaining two red atoms to complete the puzzle. Afterward, proceed to Portside Docks to retrieve a fish from the water using L1+R1. Upon obtaining the correct specimen, return to the starting area for another puzzle.

Puzzle 2

For this puzzle, players will need to use at least two leaf, two H, and one water tile for the board. For the solution, check out the image below or read the instructions:

The leaf tile at the top right should be the one with three yellow ticks.

The water tile should be to the left of it.

Underneath the water should be the H tile with two green ticks on the northeast corner.

The other H tile with blue ticks should be to the left of the first H.

And then under the H should be the other water tile.

And then the other leaf tile with three ticks on its left side should connect to the water.

Two Bridges: Plant Science

Reward: 700 XP, Three Rare Tech Parts, 140 Tech Parts

Head over to the ESU greenhouse in order to retrieve the specimen, only to discover that it has been seized by a group of hooligans. Overpower them to secure possession of the plant and return to the original point of experimentation. Subsequently, this will initiate a Plant Attributes puzzle.

Plant Attributes Puzzle

Put the Sun tile above the H tile that's already on the board.

Put the water tile above the sun.

There's only one leaf tile that can fit to the right of the sun --it's the one with three lines on the left.

Put the last two leaf tiles at the bottom spots.

The one underneath the H should have a single yellow tick on the right side.

Reward: 1000 XP and 200 Tech Parts are up for grabs.

To unlock the final EMF activity in Astoria, players must first complete the main story and roll credits. They will then be presented with a Plant Attributes puzzle that needs to be solved. The solution to this puzzle can be found below:

The leaf tiles need to be positioned at the top of the hexagon and connected by the double-green tick.

Moving clockwise, the following tile should be the water drop with the single tick on the left.

The other water droplet comes after.

The tile with the H icon is next.

And then the sun icon is last --the one with the green double tick on the left.

Reward for Completing All EMF Experiments

Players will earn the Foundational trophy for completing all EMF Experiments and get a snazzy new suit for Peter called the Life Story Suit.
