Windows 11 introduced the snap layouts feature, allowing you to effortlessly resize windows using predefined grid layouts. Additionally, the operating system now suggests specific layouts based on the apps you have open.
Currently, snap layouts in Windows 11 require you to manually select a layout and choose the apps you want on it. Although this is a good approach, there is room for improvement. In the latest Insider build, version 23493, Windows 11 is introducing snap layout suggestions. These suggestions will recommend specific snap layouts based on the apps you are using. With just a simple click, you can easily snap all your desired apps into place on your screen. If you frequently multitask and use snap layouts often, this feature can save you precious time. If the suggested layouts do not meet your preferences, you still have the option to manually select a snap layout and choose the apps to snap yourself.
This option is now available for Insiders on the Dev channel. You might need to wait a few months before this actually rolls out to all Windows 11 users.
