The experienced tools engineer, who is no longer employed at the company, expressed their frustration on their LinkedIn account under the name Hunter C, receiving almost 1,000 engagements. They also highlighted that they are currently seeking new job opportunities as a tools engineer, bringing almost two decades of experience in a AAA gaming company.

The company's sole statement acknowledges that changes within the Hearthstone team have resulted in the redundancy of a few roles.
