Mandy Moore expressed her congratulations to former TV husband Milo Ventimiglia following his secret wedding to Jarah Mariano. In an interview with Extra published on Monday, December 18, Moore, 39, stated, "I haven't had a chance to catch up with Milo, but if Milo's happy, I am so happy for him."
In October, we exclusively confirmed that 46-year-old Ventimiglia married 38-year-old Mariano in a private wedding ceremony with family and close friends. Although the couple were first linked last year, they have never publicly confirmed their relationship. They were, however, spotted in California earlier this year after Ventimiglia bought a home in Malibu in the summer of 2022.
Meanwhile, Moore played Ventimiglia’s fictional wife on This Is Us for six seasons. The two starred as Rebecca and Jack Pearson, who were the parents of three unique triplets. The series, which aired on NBC from 2016 to 2022, followed the family through the ups and downs of various decades in their lives. Sterling K. Brown, Justin Hartley, and Chrissy Metz portrayed the adult versions of the Pearson triplets.
The onscreen chemistry between Moore and Ventimiglia instantly captured the hearts of fans and earned them critical acclaim as a TV couple. In real life, they forged a strong friendship, frequently applauding each other's talent.
In a January 2022 interview with E! News, Ventimiglia recalled telling Mandy, "I’m not going to be happy unless you’re happy." This sentiment has been a constant in their relationship, as they both invest heavily and communicate openly. Ventimiglia expressed his admiration, saying, "I just think the world of her. She’s wonderful."
The actor praised Moore for her incredible natural talent and strong connection to her work. He further expressed admiration for her ability to put in a lot of effort into the work and then walk away from it, turning her passion to her family, music, friends, and giving back to the community, making her a truly inspirational woman.

In September 2019, the Heroes actor exclusively revealed to Us that he and Moore frequently had lunches together in order to strengthen their bond. Two years earlier, he had shared that they often embodied their characters when interacting with the rest of the This Is Us cast.
"I'm definitely the father, [Mandy's] definitely the mother," he stated in December 2017. "But I think we both feel protective of our group. Not just our cast, but the entire group. There's a sense of watching out for everyone. I know Susan [Kelechi Watson] has called me 'Papa Pearson' or 'Papa Bear' before. So, if she says it, it must be true."
The couple has consistently expressed support for each other's life events, with Moore congratulating Ventimiglia on his wedding to Mariano, and Ventimiglia celebrating Moore's marriage to Taylor Goldsmith. Ventimiglia told Us in December 2018, "As long as I've known Mandy, I've known Taylor, her now-husband. He's such a great guy, and the two of them complement each other so well. So, knowing that they tied the knot and we were there to celebrate it was really fun."
Moore and Goldsmith, 38, began their relationship in July 2015 and eventually got engaged in September 2017. They exchanged vows in an intimate backyard ceremony at the actress’ Los Angeles home the following year, with Ventimiglia, as well as Metz, 43, and Brown, 47, among the attendees. The couple now have two children: sons Gus, 2, and Oscar, 11 months.

While speaking to Extra on Monday, Moore offered a glimpse of her holiday plans with her little ones.
"We're going to enjoy the coziness of our new home. Since we've just moved, we are excited to establish new traditions," she shared, mentioning that she intends to uphold her family's tradition of enjoying breakfast food on Christmas Eve. "It may seem simple, but it's something I always cherished during the holidays. Now I can carry on the tradition as a mother."
