The leader of a gang called the Biker Horde is Dementus, who resembles a post-apocalyptic Viking warrior and could easily be imagined fighting against Hemsworth’s Thor in a nightmare. Dementus and his gang roam the wastelands causing chaos in a style reminiscent of the classic Mad Max.

Dementus is a character not seen in any previous Mad Max film. His backstory comes from a non-canon 2015 video game, where he is portrayed as a rival to Immortan Joe’s son, Scabrous Scrotus. Legend has it that Scrotus emerged victorious in a war against Dementus, leading to Scrotus becoming the ruler of Gas Town, a settlement mentioned in Fury Road.

Furiosa is set 15 years before the events of Fury Road.

Hemsworth has been quite mysterious when it comes to his character, Dementus. In a Q&A session with Collider last year, he described Dementus as a complex, violent, and brutal character. The trailers have given us a glimpse of Dementus, who seems to be similar to Lord Humungus from The Road Warrior. Like Humungus, Dementus leads a gang of marauders and enjoys taunting his victims with a loudspeaker. Hemsworth has also revealed Dementus' motorcycle, adding more depth to the character before the release of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Editor's P/S:

I'm intrigued by Chris Hemsworth's transformation into Warlord Dementus in the upcoming "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga." The image of his character with a wild beard and a unique motorcycle captures the essence of the Mad Max universe, promising a thrilling and visually stunning experience. Moreover, the backstory of Dementus as a rival to Immortan Joe's son adds depth to the character, hinting at a complex history and potential conflicts within the film.

Hemsworth's portrayal of Dementus as a violent and brutal character evokes memories of Lord Humungus from "The Road Warrior," suggesting that he will be a formidable antagonist in the film. The inclusion of his motorcycle further enhances the character's identity and adds to the overall post-apocalyptic aesthetic. I'm eager to see Hemsworth bring Dementus to life on the big screen and witness the continuation of the iconic Mad Max tradition of wild vehicles and memorable characters.
