Love Is Blind’s Izzy Zapata has officially moved on from his ex-fiancée, Stacy Snyder.
Zapata introduced his new girlfriend through a series of Instagram photos. "It all began at a cooking class..." he wrote as the caption, alluding to their initial encounter, which was first disclosed during the Love Is Blind reunion episode that aired on Netflix starting Sunday, October 15. During the reunion, Zapata shared that he and his current girlfriend coincidentally crossed paths with Snyder and her own date at the cooking class.
Zapata and the unidentified woman celebrated the momentous event by getting identical tattoos that say, "Yes, chef." Zapata proudly displays his fresh artwork in a social media post, alongside images capturing intimate moments of the couple sharing kisses against the backdrop of swaying palm trees.

After the cameras stopped rolling, the once-engaged couple attempted to salvage their relationship, but it quickly came to an end. Zapata revealed that during a date one week after their wedding, he asked Snyder if she was interested in continuing their relationship, to which she responded negatively.
"I was incredibly angry with her following that incident as I had believed we were genuinely committed to making things work," Zapata expressed during the reunion. "I was so overwhelmed with disappointment that I stormed out, and for a whole year, I chose not to communicate with her."
Snyder expressed her belief that starting fresh was necessary, but she sensed that Zapata was hesitant to do so if it meant going backward.
After officially ending their relationship, they crossed paths by chance a year later at a bar, leading to a reconnection. Zapata revealed that they shared a kiss, but mutually concluded that it would be better not to pursue a romantic relationship.
"We found solace in having each other back in our lives as friends," he expressed. "We're now like brothers."
Throughout their time on Love Is Blind, Snyder had difficulty accepting Zapata's financial situation and gained notoriety for criticizing his use of paper plates upon seeing his apartment for the first time. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Snyder clarified that her concerns extended beyond just finances.
"It wasn't just about his financial situation. It was his inability to explain his job effectively. It was a new job, and he couldn't disclose how he earned money or how much he made," she expressed to the outlet. "The whole situation seemed quite ambiguous, and it worried me that he didn't view it as a significant issue. That's a major concern."
For her part, Snyder opted not to confirm her current relationship status at the reunion, replying “no comment” when asked by hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey.
