Get an exclusive insight into Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell's diverging perspectives on their 'Love Is Blind' breakup as they open up to Us Weekly.

Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell did not tie the knot on Love Is Blind season 6, and they still don't agree on what went wrong.

"I felt completely shocked," Chelsea, 31, shared exclusively with We before the finale. "We had our highs and lows — and when it was bad, it was really bad — but the good times were amazing. Just a week before, we were so happy and in sync. We were even discussing our wedding songs right before our final date."

Chelsea found it strange when Jimmy, 28, decided to call off their engagement. She mentioned that it was hard to hear, especially because she had put so much effort into it. It was a weird situation for her.

On the other hand, Jimmy insists that he truly wanted to marry Chelsea.

Jimmy told Us last month that he was putting in a lot of effort to reach a certain point and he had deep feelings for her. He mentioned that they were constantly getting to know each other better every day, but in the days leading up to a certain event, he had to really fight for an extra day for her, which unfortunately turned into a struggle.

Jimmy explained that the reason behind his difficulties in the situation was a lack of trust.

"She betrayed my trust in a major way, and it deeply hurt me," he claimed. "It consumed my thoughts because I value my friends' privacy and didn't want their personal information to be exposed. Despite everything, I still cared for her deeply."

Chelsea and Jimmy met on the reality show Love is Blind, but their relationship faced challenges from third parties. Despite forming a connection with another contestant, Jessica Vestal, Jimmy ultimately chose to propose to Chelsea. However, their relationship outside of the show hit a rough patch when Chelsea became insecure about Jimmy's close female friendships. She even asked him if he had been romantically involved with one of his female friends.

Jimmy believes that if Chelsea hadn't brought up his past on camera, he would have definitely married her.

In response to Jimmy's feelings, Chelsea shared with Us that the situation was challenging for her. She explained that while cameras didn't matter in their normal relationship, they became a significant factor when considering a life-changing decision.

She expressed, "We had this issue in our relationship, but you didn't want me to talk about it on camera because you were worried about how you would appear to the world. But for me, it was a real and significant problem that I couldn't ignore, and I felt it was important to address."

Chelsea admits that she regrets how she communicated her feelings, acknowledging that her approach was not the best. She stated, "The issue was a genuine concern in our relationship that needed to be addressed for us to move forward."

Jimmy, on the other hand, views Chelsea's apology as genuine. He expresses a desire for their relationship to have had a different outcome. Despite feeling unhappy about the way things ended, he finds value in the lessons learned from the experience. Jimmy admits to having some regrets, but overall, he remains content with the knowledge gained.

Love Is Blind season 6 is currently streaming on Netflix.
