Exes Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell from Love Is Blind sparked rumors of getting back together after the season 6 reunion, but Chelsea clarified that they are just friends and there is no romantic relationship between them.

During an episode of the “Viall Files” podcast on Tuesday, March 19, Chelsea, 31, mentioned that Jimmy has been supportive throughout their journey but they have decided to remain just friends. She stated that they have both moved on and there is no chance of them getting back together.

Chelsea and Jimmy, who are both 28 years old, raised questions about getting back together after being seen getting close during a trip to Florida after filming the season 6 reunion.

They first met when the Netflix dating show visited Charlotte, North Carolina in March 2023. Even though the show wasn't available for streaming until this year, Chelsea and Jimmy managed to get engaged without ever seeing each other in person, despite facing challenges with love triangles involving other contestants.

In an exclusive interview with We before the season 6 reunion, Jimmy shared his feelings about the situation. He mentioned that Chelsea broke a level of his trust and wanted him to validate her feelings on camera. However, they both realized that constantly having the same argument was not going to work, and they came to an agreement.

Chelsea was completely caught off guard when Jimmy ended their engagement. She shared with Us that they had their fair share of challenges, but also had many happy moments leading up to the breakup. Just a week prior, they were both excited and happy, even discussing their wedding songs.

After filming, Jimmy and Chelsea decided to see if their connection could continue outside of the show. They attempted to date for four days after Love Is Blind ended.

Chelsea shared that Jimmy expressed his feelings after filming, mentioning that the cameras and pressure were overwhelming. She recalled a moment at a baseball game on their supposed wedding day where he admitted his discomfort. Chelsea was frustrated because she had been fully committed and ready to get married.

Chelsea also shared with podcast host Nick Viall that besides going on a baseball date, Jimmy had cooked dinner for her one night. She mentioned that they had also hooked up at some point.

According to Chelsea, the experience was pleasant. She emphasized that even without the cameras around, things remained unchanged. "It just felt normal," she said.
