Liverpool staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 4-2 victory over Karlsruher. However, Karlsruher fought back and Stindl mesmerized the crowd with an equalizing goal, bringing excitement to the stadium.

Starting his career with the club, the former Germany international made a sentimental comeback this summer, coinciding with the grand opening of the Wildpark. During a left-wing corner, the ball was passed back to him and Stindl skillfully volleyed it past the helpless Caoimhin Kelleher.

Stindl played a crucial role in the goal that allowed Karlsruher to take the lead, using his intelligence to send Jung down the right side, whose high shot flawlessly found the net at the near post.
