Dina Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's mother, is ecstatic about the arrival of her daughter and husband Bader Shammas' first child. "We are extremely fortunate and elated, and our hearts are overflowing with love," Dina shared exclusively with We. Lindsay's son arrived "two days ahead of schedule," Dina added. A source had earlier disclosed to Us that Lindsay, 36, was expecting in July.
Dina, who is 60 years old, mentioned that she had intended to visit Dubai before Lindsay gave birth. She further stated that her newest grandchild decided to arrive earlier to be with them sooner. A representative for the actress confirmed on July 17th that Lindsay and the 35-year-old financier are now proud parents of a "beautiful, healthy son named Luai." The spokesperson also expressed that Lindsay's family is absolutely smitten with the newest member.
The Christmas star from the film "Falling for Christmas" pleasantly shocked her followers in March by revealing her pregnancy. Lindsay shared her excitement about the imminent arrival of a new family member and expressed anticipation for the upcoming chapter in their lives in a statement to Us.
In response to the news, Lindsay's sister, Aliana Lohan, expressed her excitement and admiration on Instagram. She wrote, "[Lindsay], you are going to be an amazing mother. I wanted to share this because, although our family and friends already know, you are truly an angel and one of the most kind, genuine, and talented individuals I know. I love you wholeheartedly."
Dina shared a heartfelt message in the comments, expressing her gratitude for her incredible children who are kind, humble, and always ready to lend a hand. Lindsay, who shares her parents with Michael Lohan and has siblings, Michael Lohan Jr. and Cody Lohan, received this message. In anticipation of her first child, Lindsay's excitement as a mother was evident. An exclusive source revealed in April that she thoroughly enjoys being pregnant and finds the most joy when surrounded by her closest friends and family.
Lindsay recently shared the story behind her son's nursery theme. "Being by the ocean brings me a sense of peace, so I wanted to create a space where my baby and I could both experience that feeling," she explained in an interview with Architectural Digest on July 12th. "The airplanes and sailboat give a timeless touch, while the watercolor effect adds a fresh and unexpected element. It brings warmth to the room, and I'm excited to point out all the adorable details to my little one. What I really appreciate about this collection is that the items will remain relevant for years to come."
